If you check out the cop blogs in Chicago, the speculation is that the whole incident smells bad (apparently the kid’s cell phone was wiped right after it happened), and one line of speculation is exactly what you’ve proposed - the lad tried to stiff his suppliers, probably in trying to pick up some weed.

Do realize that Emanuel was consigliere for two of the masters at covering up illicit behavior, so it’s unlikely anything will ever come of this little incident.

Yes, surely Zeke's parents, if still alive must be in their 80's by now, and John McLame, Pelosi, Reed, Bernie Sanders, Charles Rangel are well past their expiration dates also. Maybe they should set an example for the rest of us.
