No. He’s done. He’s on record supporting the “protesters,” and his own police force — including the union — are ripping him to pieces. No politician can get over that. Ever. Done.
The people that vote for a President like Obama don't care about dead cops either. They're "his people."

Bingo! De Blasio was elected by the schleps and the elites. The schleps don’t identify with the cops and the elites don’t care if cops die in droves as long as criminals don’t bother them.
If it wouldn’t lead to innocent people getting hurt, I would say maybe the cops skip work for a couple of weeks until the mayor resigns.
But they will start to care about the consequences as the cops go "wartime" and stop much of the usual enforcement. Might make them mad at the cops for a while, but they will see the results of endorsing a commie as a 'leader".
