Fewer Americans born in the U.S. have jobs now than were employed to November 2007, despite a working-age population growth of 11 million.
The amazing drop in employment highlights President Barack Obamas slow recovery from the deep 2008 shock, but also spotlights many companies growing reliance on foreign migrant labor.
Almost one in every two jobs added since 2009 have gone to foreign-born workers.
In November 2014, one in every five U.S. jobs was held by a foreign-born worker, up from one-in-six jobs in January 2010, according to federal data highlighted by the Center for Immigration Studies.
Since November 2007, the number of working legal and illegal migrants has risen by two million, from 23.1 million in November 2007 to 25.1 million in November 2014.
But the number of Americans with jobs has fallen by 1.5 million, from 124 million in November 2007 to 122.6 million November 2014.
All of the net gain in employment since 2007 has gone to immigrants (legal and illegal). Native employment has still not returned to pre-recession levels, while immigrant employment already exceeds pre-recession level, said a Dec. 19 statement from the group.
The job transfer from Americans to immigrants has accelerated since the economy bottomed out in mid-2009.

We would probably have more Americans without jobs assuming that immigration levels remained unchanged. Our population would be nearing 400 million today. In 1970 the population of the US was 203 million, today it is 320 million.
The black population would be almost double what it is today since blacks have a much higher abortion rate than the general population.
Minority women constitute only about 13% of the female population (age 15-44) in the United States, but they underwent approximately 36% of the abortions.
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion. On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.
This incidence of abortion has resulted in a tremendous loss of life. It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had about 16 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated "Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 36 million, the missing 16 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America's Black community would now number 52 million persons. It would be 36 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member."
With the black out of wedlock birthrate at 73% and a very high school dropout rate, I would assume that the numbers on welfare would be greater along with crime rates.
Abortion is murder, but would the reality that is America be better off if these abortions had not taken place? That is up to you to decide.
you are correct. It isn’t just lower paying jobs, tech jobs have been going to h1b’s and green card holders for a very long time. I am hanging on at one of the top tech companies where their stated goal is to have 70% of staff outsourced by next year. They are pretty darn close now.
I don’t understand people who want to give their country away.
May their plans collapse upon them, and may they have serious hell to pay.
it could be that they are just sold out for $$$
‘follow the money’
or they could just be self-haters
or they could be mind-warped by false training, teaching, propaganda
or any combination of the above. such as a certain illegal immigrant politico in WashDC today
Irwin Feerst saw this problem in the 1960/70’s. He came within 247 votes of winning the presidency of the IEEE (but lost).
I had cancer, too and was treated at that hospital! Everyone was professional and wonderful. It changed this time.
I know a lot of the big wigs there. I’m going to write them a note about the bad treatment I got. Something has changed for the worse.

In my area foreign workers have replaced Americans (of all colors) in fast-food chains; since they are chains I assume these newcomers are legal. Americans have always worked these jobs, but “replacement Americans” will work them for a lot less. Besides coupling their low salaries with freebies, these foreigners are also content with a much lower standard of living (it is still many steps up from their homelands).
As far as Americans not wanting those jobs, remember the meat-packing plants raided by the INS in the midwest a few years back? When Americans showed up to apply for the jobs the next day, they were asked about Americans not wanting those jobs; several responded that they used to work those jobs until the companies replaced them with illegals...
Some Americans prefer the dole to a low-paying job because the dole pays so well; immigrants ensure that a growing number of jobs become low-paying jobs. I’ve seen plenty of bank teller and deli clerk positions in which the middle-aged and older Americans have been replaced with younger foreigners.
The black birthrate dropped quickly after the 1996 welfare reform; as a result, Hispanics passed them in numbers by 2000 instead of the projected date of 2010.
I work with black women with only the one “golden ticket” bastard necessary to secure freebies; I don’t know that the welfare queens are still popping out five or six anymore.
Abortion hurts the birthrate.
No question; they were targeted by abortion policies.
