During his final 2014 press conference, President Barack Obama had some pretty stern words for Sony Pictures over their decision to pull The Interview in light of terror threats from North Korea-affiliated hackers. Amidst his remarks, though, came a notable flub that sent Twitter into a tizzy with joking responses.
See transcript for the gaffe [emphasis added]:
I think it says something interesting about North Korea that they decided to have the state come out with an all-out attack because of satirical movie starring Seth Rogen and James Flacco. I love Seth and I love James, but the notion that that was a threat to them gives you some sense of the kind of regime we are talking about here.

Must be getting ronery at the top...........
All ESPN all of the time at the White House.
Now Sony knows they did the right thing! Because Obozo thinks they shouldn’t have pulled it. Always do the opposite of what the clown in chief says to do and you’ll be alright.

.@barackobama It’s James Franco, not James Flacco ;)
On the otherhand if Obama thinks your a coward, then WOW
Adele Dazeem
Per Obama... It gives note to the type of regime we are talking about here.
he must mean HIS regime!
Lucky,he watches ESPN or it would have been James Flaccid!
Well, the word Flaco is a spanish word for Skinny, so maybe Obama was trying to be funny. James Franco seems to have put on weight. Four years ago, Franco would not have been ‘wasting his time’ in a nothing movie like this. How the mighty have fallen.
Isn’t he the Ravens quarterback?
This is what happens when you punt your briefings for spending hours on the sofa watching ESPN.
“Did the President just call me ‘Slim Jim’ in Spanish? WTF?” - James Franco
Joe Flacco, see post #6.
Oh my, what if Sarah Palin had done that?!
Everyone is having fun on Twitter over this. Where were they all when he visited 57 states? Or, at the Memorial Day speech, saw many of our fallen heroes in the audience? He wanted to give kids with asthma free breathalyzers. He’s a flub a minute off Prompter.
Well, I believe in looking on the bright side of things. Compared to “corpseman” and somehow forgetting that the brave soldier you’re awarding the Medal of Honor to was killed in action, this isn’t so bad.
What a bonehead...
He’s just making money for easy work. These movies cost almost nothing to make and can be made quickly he still gets his regular payday.
