Eight children have been found stabbed to death at a house in Cairns, Australia.
The children are reportedly aged between 18 months and 14.
Police were called to a property in the suburb of Manoora following reports of a woman with serious injuries.
During the search of the house the bodies of the children were discovered.
A statement from Queensland Police said: "The woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, is receiving treatment for her injuries and is currently assisting police with their investigations."

Imam Benjamin Murat: Most of it now is Albanians, of Albanian extract born in Australia. Most of the original immigrants have passed on now. But our community is significantly Albanian. We have some Bosnian families, we have some Turkish families, we have some people who were born in Greece from Albanian extract, born in Turkey from Albanian extract, they are here. We have some people from the Subcontinent of India or Pakistan but they’re doctors or other professionals that have come and served in our community. So that’s basically the background, and most of it’s of Albanian extract.

Imam Benjamin Murat: I would hazard a guess and say it’s around 70 to 80 families, which amounts to about perhaps 300 people.

Five fathers and eight children. Subtracting the father of the 14-year old girl who was visiting, there were four fathers of the other seven children.

I used to work on the highways. Sometimes I would be called to assist at scenes of accidents. I remember seeing a grizzled old Highway Patrolman crying as he wrote his report of an accident that killed a baby.
Over the years I’ve seen more than a few dead adults. They don’t bother me but the kids have never left me. I guess I’m just not as tough as I’d like to make people think.
No. The only reason I posted the link to the mosque and the graffiti is because there was doubt if there were any muslims in Cairns. You have to read the entire threads to follow it. Then, someone suggests that muslims of Albanian decent are a 'problem' in a small town named Mareeba, nearby. Investigation shows there are a few families, most of whom are third generation Australian.
The children were four boys and four girls. I think the woman may have had a schizoid episode, the day prior she told a neighbour she was planning to change her life...

I’ve become aware that all is not how we are expected to view the situation, the second or third generation muslims in that region might have remained assimilated and unnoticed, until the Muslim Brotherhood sent them an imam from the Al Azhar university/mosque in Cairo.
No doubt it’s not the few families who are funding a new mosque and a ‘boarding school’ -
How would you suggest we put a stop to this?
Since 1973, young women have been conditioned to turn against their own babies. We should not be surprised that some of them don't respect the legal time limit on killing their children.
Except the UK didn’t ban guns.
