Adding toll lanes on already congested freeways is supposed to improve traffic, how?
I-270 needs more lanes, not more congestion due to tolls.
We have the same idiotic liberals proposing similar on I-4 in Orlando.
Liberals seem to think that there is a significant number of people during rush hour that are sitting in traffic for fun, as some sort of leisure activity.
The toll is apparently intended to curtail this entertainment activity and thus elevate congestion.
Put another road deck on top. Should fix the problem.
When Democrats say tolls improve the flow of traffic, they aren’t talking about flow of cars/trucks, etc. They are talking about the “flow of money” - from our pockets to theirs.
It improves traffic tremendously for those that can afford to pay $8-10 to use them at rush hour.
For those who can’t, traffic is 10 times worse.
