Once I read a story that when they were searching for those missing girls in the forest, some civilians were only armed with bows and arrows. You can imagine one's reaction. So maybe it has to do with the soldiers not having proper weapons.
This execution sounds like a bad idea. It's a big nation, 176 million, so I'm not sure if it is a sign they could be losing their grip. It is worrisome.
I go now with “bad idea”, this is the kind of stuff that happens when a country starts to lose a grip.
