I drove a VW van for Bob Houston Motors back in the day
One wild town
I used to drink an offered espresso with a Budweiser chaser
They thought I was nuts
I had em but I wasn’t
Lol
And you lived ? Wow
Real rough place back then
the big car dealer in the area was named “Marooney” or something like that.
I did have two traffic accidents in my 3 years there...
Neither were my fault and neither of the other drivers had insurance.
What year cause the cocaine cowboys shot up Dadeland mall and a terminal of the airport
Ever go to Coconut Grove ?
I lived on Day Ave
Opa-locka airport
CIA
Panama
Noriega
Oliver North
Launched the boat from a marina down there somewhere a couple of times.
Are you Chuck Norris ?
I am Crazy Hairy Chuck Norris with Arm Hair Curtains.
I hate those commercials
looks like I’m not having mayonnaise is funny tho
Dania Jai-Alai, owned by parents of a guy I worked with in the BSA office in Coral Gables, ‘72-’76. There was also Miami Jai-Alai, IINM.
I went to the one in Dania.
Why so much analyzing here and on talk radio etc?
Comrade Obama is of the exact same kinte cloth as Fidel, Ché, the Ortegas, Chavez or Mugabe or any Mau Mau
He has more in common with any liberation thug than he does traditional America
Pass the bandoleer Pancho.....
That’s it! Dania is where my dad tried to corrupt me as a child LOL! We’d stay in Naples for a week then drive across Alligator Alley to stay in Delray for a week. Every year that damn drive down from Chicago in the old station wagon was a pisser, but it was fun when you got there.
This is an urban legend from Hollywood, Florida.
-
the Seminole Indians wanted to open a bingo parlor
the state of Florida said “no”
the Seminoles said “oh, yeah? You think not?”
that highway you call Federal Hwy or U.S 1
comes right through our reservation
and as of tomorrow we will turn it into a toll road
so they put up barricades and stopped traffic
and demanded a toll from each vehicle crossing the reservation
within a few days it was all settled
and the Seminoles got their bingo parlor
-
I have no idea if this story is truth or legend.
Mrs Warnhoff, wife of the owner, knew all the players and *who* were the winners ahead of time. She gave Frank, my associate at the BSA, and I the winner each time. It was amazing. Heh.
All of them are rigged.
Especially when there is a person directly involved.
Even at greyhound racing, where the bettors think
it is “just the dogs” and no people are involved
..BUT...
it is the people who feed the dogs, water the dogs,
walk the dogs, and allow the dogs to take a piss and crap
that can be bought, and can control the outcome of the race.
I’ve never heard of it, but that means nothing.
