* Hillary Rodham Clinton has the support of half of American voters
* More than 80 per cent of Democratic voters say they would back her
* In contrast only 31 per cent of U.S. voters would back Jeb Bush
* Republican Bush announced he is 'actively exploring' running yesterday
Hillary Rodham Clinton is the early frontrunner in the 2016 presidential election, a poll has said.
Although the former Secretary of State has yet to announce her candidacy, 50 per cent of American voters have said they can see themselves supporting her if she runs.
Mrs Clinton, 67, has said she will make her decision on whether or not to run for the White House 2016 early next year.
The poll found that half of voters support another Clinton president, while 48 per cent oppose it.
Despite only a small margin of support, hers is significantly stronger than that of any rumoured Republican nominees.
One reason for this could be that Ms Clinton, a former first lady and New York senator is viewed as the likely Democratic nominee if she runs with few other candidates seen as competition.
This becomes clear when polling only Democratic voters, where 82 per cent said they could see themselves supporting her if she runs, and only 15 per cent saying they cannot.
One likely Republican opponent Jeb Bush, who announced that he is 'actively exploring' running for President 2016, only has a 31 per cent support, the poll by NBC News/Wall Street Journal said....

Gosh I sure hope they don't run HilLIARy... that would be just awful
We's sure scared we'll lose if they run HilLIARy
Yes, we shall not forget pot. It's the only thing to calm our nerves (except of course the bourbon - but we have to take care of our liver). Colorados newest million dollar tax fund. Just one more reason to visit The Mile High City (wink wink). When the depression kicks in I'd like to . . . wait! I can't do that. It's illegal here. Pore me. Poor me. Pour me another Bulleit, bartender.
I’d lay money Hillary’s support is a mile wide and an inch deep, at least among Democrats. If Warren runs, Hillary will be ground into hamburger during the primary debates. Warren is as far left as they come, but she does have the courage of her convictions. The base will flock to her over Hillary! in droves.
“New car smell” PPPPPPPpppppppppt!
Remember that almost exactly 50 percent of all the people out there are of below average intelligence.
Imagine that, two weeks after the biggest landslide the other direction America is ready for another hardcore Marxist. Who would have thought.
Pray America is waking
Yeah and she comes out with that lie thinking people wouldn’t catch it .... she’s just like all those lying Demo-rats from 0’barry on down ....
support a bid doesn’t mean they would vote for her. The same person could also support the bid of 5 other candidates. support a bid is not the same as saying if she ran against so and so would you vote for her. Supporting her running against nobody.
Clinton / Bush 2016!
Uniparty Wins!
This is a large country with many individuals with solid accomplishments: warriors, governors, captains of industry. And just take a look at what is offered up to us for presidential material—Obama, Hillary. These are con artists but without much artistry. They both would collapse overnight with either an effective press or effective opposition party.
They won’t when it’s all said and done.
Unless there`s a conservative Crat party POTUS candidate, I`ll sit this one out or vote third party. If she wins so F-ing what? It no longer matters which of the uni-parties is in power, we still get screwed so screw them both!
Half the country think Hitlary is the front runner, MY ASS!.
Are they now considering the liberal news media as “half the country”?
Since she thinks that polls decide the winner in an election in her own fevered mind she’s already elected, waiting for 0bozo to vacate the premises.
This is a "contrast?" One is Democratic voters, the other is US voters. I guess that's like a "contrast" that states apples are red and oranges are orange?
> Believe it or not, she probably wouldnt do as well in those venues as you might think.
Yeah I forgot some lesbians still have a little class left in them.../s
