There's a certain ritual that each and every one of the world's billion-plus Muslims, especially those living in Western countries, is expected to go through immediately following any incident of violence involving a Muslim perpetrator. It's a ritual that is continuing now with the Sydney hostage crisis, in which a deranged self-styled sheikh named Man Haron Monis took several people hostage in a downtown café.
Here is what Muslims and Muslim organizations are expected to say: "As a Muslim, I condemn this attack and terrorism in any form."
This expectation we place on Muslims, to be absolutely clear, is Islamophobic and bigoted. The denunciation is a form of apology: an apology for Islam and for Muslims. The implication is that every Muslim is under suspicion of being sympathetic to terrorism unless he or she explicitly says otherwise. The implication is also that any crime committed by a Muslim is the responsibility of all Muslims simply by virtue of their shared religion. This sort of thinking — blaming an entire group for the actions of a few individuals, assuming the worst about a person just because of their identity — is the very definition of bigotry.

If someone attacks innocents claiming he’s acting in defense of western civilization or Christianity, you bet I’ll denounce him.
I believe just about all conservatives denounced Anders Breivik or whatever his name was in Norway. The guy who killed all the children.
I want to make it very clear he’s not part of MY group just because he claims to be. I cast him out.
(Most) Muslims don’t seem to feel a similar desire to cast out those who do such things.
Cannot expect muslims to condemn child brides, slavery, genocide, or an apartheid legal system. It’s the way of Mohammed.
Not all Muslims are terrorists, but damned near all terrorists are Muslims. It’s not a coincidence.
I’ll remind everyone that President Barack Hussein Obama saw to it that Osama Bin Laden’s corpse was given a proper muslim funeral (with respect for OBL and to not enrage the ‘non-Islamic’ muslims who supported OBL’s global jihad).

No, they are under suspicion no matter what they say, since most who would sympathize will obviously just lie about it.
By their silence, the so-called moderate muslims have shown they are supportive of total oppression of non-Islamic faiths in Saudi Arabia (the capital of the islamic empire that they bow to five times a day, every day, every year). Non-muslims are barred from their segregated capital under penalty of death.
Same Leftists utter “white guilt” without the least bit of irony occurring to them.
Its 100% OK to expect white Americans to have shared guilt.
Mr. Fisher may think asking muslims to denounce terrorist acts is “Islamophobic and bigoted” but I think that it is useless even to ask for an overt denouncement. If you do,you will not get an unambiguous truthful one if offered. Why? Because firstly, their silence is and has been their statement and secondly, they all subscribe to the same operating handbook.
The only good Muslim is a bad Muslim.
Same as how some women write off all men because of an encounter with a rapist or abusive male partner.
Such action would be called unfair prejudice and bigotry if it was the action of a homeowner who’d been assaulted by a minority during a home invasion.
By their silence they either support the actions committed under the name of Islam or they are irrelevant to the whole conversation. They are just background noise........

If a Muslim believes in sharia/jihadism.....no matter how it’s presented...if they “believe it”....they’re a Muslim.....a dangerous muslim.
They ‘re all skirting the obvious and the media is now quick to “color” them as victims....the story is fast now moving (hijacked) from the terrorist attack on innocent people to the Muslim Community and reassuring them as well as they are each other.
You can not infilitrate a Muslims mindset, nor can you convert a Muslim without them fully denying their religious books, Jihad, Sharia and Mohammed...NONE will do that.
I don’t get it when a liberal calls someone a whatever-phobe or a bigot. Is that supposed to make them cower in shame? Is that the ultimate argument winner?
