I had a follow up today to a blood test last week, for my yearly exam. Anyway, I had to fill out a one page Ebola questionnaire....a couple of examples of questions below:
Do you have a fever?
Do you or have you traveled to any African country?
Do you plan to travel overseas, where?
etc, etc

Then some guy came out of the doctors office with a mask on, and finally it turned out he had the flu...not ebola. Whew.

I guess the most dangerous place to be is the doctors office and the hospital where germs are concerned.

If I could have taken another career path, I probably would have done medical school... knowing what I know now and what has become of the industry... I could probably have a good private practice as an old fashion country doctor serving the local Amish community and anyone else willing to pay cash or barter, and sign a release of some sort waiving their right to sue me for malpractice if the open wound I fixed for them at 75¢ per stitch might leave a scar.
