Denmark and Sweden both summoned their Russian ambassadors to complain about how a near-miss involving a passenger plane and a Russian military aircraft endangered lives.

You Europeans should take care of him then. We Americans have our own dictator problem.

Lithuania is a member of NATO. If the Russkies start doing their whole "spontaneous revolution" routine in these countries like they've been hinting they're going to do next, we will be obligated to defend them or else witness the disintegration of NATO. Putin's next step is logically to test our resolve to defend these "minor" (as his propagandists in the West will soon call them) NATO countries.

NATO is fine when we have a free market President. We will be like those pitiful small nato nations that can’t help in a crisis and rightfully so until our dictator is removed from office.
Our military is now a crippled remnant of the military as it was under Bush

~If the Russkies start doing their whole “spontaneous revolution” routine in these countries~

I must have had missed some part of NATO charter, prompting response in case of ‘spontanous revolution’.
Fortunately, NATO haven’t learnt it too. Imagine if the Turkish Army would invade Missouri to help people out in face of government inaction.

Yep. The poor syntax and grammar (absence or overuse of indefinite and definite articles) are indicative of a Russian’s English. That and the big waving Russian flag on wetphoenix’s profile page.

Definitely a Putin troll.

I don’t doubt that he is Russian, but if he were actually posting for pay wouldn’t he be more likely to wave an American flag. I’d guess he is a Russian giving us his true beliefs (for free). On the other hand, that doesn’t mean we need to buy into his arguments.

Means (in this context) that he was showed-up. Borrowed from the title of the thread you are posting in:

“If you like your commies you can keep them.”

IF she was a commie or not is totally irrelevant, she is not pushing forward any commie agenda and Lithuania is a free, democratic country, which is not a threat to international peace. That’s it. The rest is just trolling coming from Russia - a troll among countries.

It only matters to wetphony: evidently she has nothing in her past that can even remotely tie her to the Great Patriotic Anti-Fascist War [Ukrainians, you see, are all "Nazis".] So she must have been a Soviet collaborator.

A very strange accusation coming from a Putin bootlicker. But hey, who says propaganda has to make sense? Pravda never did...

What I suspect is that Wetpheonix is supposed to present a "conservative" face for Russia. IOW, they are not really very different from us, face the same hardships, and have the same values. He even depicts Putin's opponents in Russia as "liberals," but this is horribly misleading, since Russia is not a "liberal and conservative" country. It is a country where "Russian Orthodox Christians" ride around on motorcycles carrying icons of the Virgin Mary and Joseph Stalin. It is a country where "nationalist" parties are Communist parties who also insist that Russian Orthodoxy is the true religion, and their cohorts are in East Ukraine right now killing Protestants and Catholic clergy. Russia is a country where people walk around calling themselves "fascist fascists" and run military boot camps using Russian tax payer money, and then sends these trainees into foreign countries as part of a military invasion.

Wetpheonix depends on our ignorance of Russian society in order to fool us into thinking they are something like us, and that Putin should be supported as he is a "conservative" just like Ronald Reagan.

Watch his posts carefully and you will see their propagandist nature as well as the lies and "spinning" he does on anything that has to do with his country. If he were just an honest Russkie telling us his feelings, he would not lie.

Instead of pushing bull crap just take some encyclopedia and learn definitions for liberal and conservative.
If you are at least barely capable to abstract thinking which makes the most difference between human and primate you would easily find out that every society has liberal and conservative component, with local peculiarities of course.

I don’t believe that you are conservative on either universal and classic American terms because if you indeed are it means that American society has fallen behind the global average in conservatism which is most likely not true.

Your worldview and perception of other cultures is nothing but unsorted mix of leftist propaganda, myths and own misinterpretations based on said propaganda delivered via allegedly hated liberal mass media.

The way you are arguing is pretty much leftist too, aimed to dominate discussion and ridicule opponent at all costs turning things upside down trumping any logic.

Not to mention you are backing leftists in Europe and Muslim extremists in Middle East.

If people like you are conservatives there is no such thing as conservatism anymore.
