That’s what I hate about cops. They know everything, you know nothing and are presumed to be a liar. EVERY TIME. There is no talking to a cop, you are automatically guilty, you know, because they have a “tough” job and deal with scumbags all day. It never occurred to me that I must be one of those scumbags, even though I am a law abiding citizen.
Well...that’s just the point. When the ordinary law abiding citizen hears this “.....sumbags all day long,” never in their wildest dreams do they think the police are really talking about “them” and every other ‘citizen’ they come in contact with.
