I suspect those teams are smarter than me but I honestly can’t see any way out of this except to kill the terrorist and hope he doesn’t kill all the hostages when they do.

The guy looked a big fat (not like your typical terrorist) to me... anyway, perhaps he'll eat so much chocolate that he'll get sick, then a sniper can take him out.

“Uber introduces surge pricing in downtown Sydney during hostage siege”

Uber is reportedly charging its users in downtown Sydney a minimum $100, a result of surge pricing introduced in the midst of an armed hostage crisis, Mashable has learned.

An executive in the city’s Central Business District (CBD) sent Mashable screenshots of the Uber app that show the company is charging up to four-times the normal rate because “demand is off the charts.”
