There are plenty of decent marksmen among the Police, and the Defence Forces. And by now, the police snipers are definitely on scene and some others who I won’t name probably are as well.

Most of the SAS are based on the other side of the country. But there are less well known forces but just as capable based in Sydney itself.
Unless they’ve moved them, our equivalent of America’s SEALS are there (Navy Clearance Diving Teams)
