Perp is Iranian “spiritual healer” Man Monis, 54.
He was under investigation for playing “a role” in stabbing death of ex-wife outside her Sydney home.
He was also accused of “40 to 50” sexual assaults arising from his “spiritual healing” activities.
Questions being asked around Sydney about why this ass-hat was even out on the street at all (on bail apparently).
And he was sending abusive letters to families of Australian servicemen.

My information is that the gunman executed the 34yo male hostage, and that was the trigger for police moving in. #sydneysiege

.....there was no way they could control the people from trying to run... so when they did the gunman started shooting....he had already lost five others and wasn't about to let that happen again no doubt.

6.30am here. I’m just up and catching up on the news. Tragic that innocent people have died. Could have been a lot worse.
