Elizabeth Warren is catching fire
Politico ^ | December 13, 2014 | Katie Glueck

Ready for Warren? Run Liz Run? Run Warren Run? Draft Warren?

Progressive activists haven’t agreed on what to call the movement urging Elizabeth Warren to run for president, but they largely concur on this: with every recent anti-establishment move the Massachusetts senator grows more attractive as a 2016 candidate, both in her own right and as a progressive foil for Hillary Clinton.

Such sentiments were on vivid display this week at RootsCamp, a gathering of some 2,000 progressive activists held in Washington, D.C. The event was held as Warren and others on the left have been denouncing the “cromnibus” spending bill winding its way through Congress over provisions they say are too friendly to Wall Street.

“Any Hispanic” will be former mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa. I mean, don’t you look at Los Angeles and think, man that’s a well run city?

His record won’t matter, because he is charismatic.

This phrase from the story caused me a doubletake: “the Massachusetts senator grows more attractive” . . . Just sayin.

She will be the nominee, and unless we get our act together, the next president of the USA.

The machine is gearing up now, the same machine that brought you a state senator from IL.

Does anyone believe the public has got any wiser in the last 6 years? On the pocketbook issues, she'll be marketed as the Un-Obama. That's all that matters. New Boss? Same as the Old Boss.

Massachusetts has a long history (except JFK and not counting Coolidge ) of providing the loser for a presidential campaign.

Minimal real world experience... Check

Zero executive experience... Check

Law school professor... Check

Strong socialist positions... Check

Claims racial minority status... Check

Short stint in the US Senate... Check

Gave a speech that went viral... Check

Represents a deep blue state... Check

I’m beginning to see a pattern here.

Given a real good speech on an issue that those constitutional conservatives supposedly on our side have avoided.

Could you be a bit more specific?

What speech?, what issue?

Is there a difference between Jeb Bush And Lizzy Warren?

Plenty...for one Jeb Bush did a pretty good job as two term Governor of the State of Florida, was Florida's Secretary of Commerce as opposed to a Lizzie Warren one term Senator from one of the most liberals states in the country and a Harvard professor, oversaw TARP....

This is in no way an endorsement of Bush, but there is a huge difference between Bush and Warren.

Except for Bush's position on immigration, he is a moderate republican, Lizzy is an out and out hard left progressive...

Fish gotta swim. Dems need a messiah. Ted would wipe the floor with her. Jeb would sink like a stone.

Methinks you are jumping the gun a bit here....

The libtard media always promotes their libtard ideologues regardless of what mainstream american thinks about them...

The hard left 10% to 15% of the population would vote for Mao too...

Americans in general aren't going to vote for a 67 year women with almost no political experience, no executive experience, and no governing experience...

We did that once already...

Turned out great Huh ?
