It’s time for John Boehner to go

Since the Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives, we expected wonderful changes to come. We once again had control over the house along with having the ability to have some control over what was taking place to our Country.

We knew that President Obama was a rogue President who had control over both houses. This left the Republican Party with virtually nothing they could do. Even when President Obama’s own party did not agree with him. He would simply use executive privilege and pass it anyway.

After the election and the Republicans gained control over the House of Representatives. Republicans now had the ability pull in the reigns of the President even if he did use executive Privilege. Since Congress has control over the nation’s Budget as stated in Article I Section 8 of the Constitution. Congress has the ability to refuse to fund any laws or acts that required funding. Speaker Boehner however never allowed the House to vote against funding laws Obama passed through Executive privilege.

As a result over the following two years, the President routinely went around Congress without fear of Congress doing anything about it. The most the Republican Party managed to get was an occasional empty threat by an ineffective Speaker of the House. This is why over the past two years we have heard virtually nothing from the House of Representatives. Speaker Boehner blamed it on the Democratic controlled Senate. Yesterday he proved this was not the case.

Even knowing that come January the Republican Party will have control over both Houses. Speaker Boehner elected to endorse a one year extension on the Budget. This is why it is imperative that Congress forces Boehner to resign as soon as possible.

All it would take is for those that voted against the bill yesterday to vote against Boehner on January 6th!

That is, if they have the courage!

Boner and McConnell were less than useless in the past.
They both need to go.

It is way past time for Boehner to go! How about getting a SOH with leadership ability, and is willing to use it. Someone without a picture with a goat.

Time for Boehner to go, along with his coterie of lying toad phonies.

Back of the bus, GOPe boys & girls. We want leaders who take their oaths seriously in charge now.

I don’t understand why they were not voted out when they lost the majority. That is the first clear sign that new leadership is needed.

With the hostile mood of the US population, I wonder if it's more a case of do they have the courage to not remove Boehner. It's pretty obvious it's all theater and this budget is the result they wanted.

Never forget that it would've only taken something like 17 true conservatives to have stopped his election as Speaker last session.

He needed to go the day I saw him sworn in, and he CRIED, again! I still remember it like it was yesterday. So bad. Nasty Pelousy handed him the gavel and Boner wept. Great. Thanks, BoneHead.

Who would run a caucus of (about) 90 conservatives, 110 moderates, and 40 liberals and what would they do differently?
Of course they’d let the conservatives have SOMETHING once in a while unlike Boehner.
But the 40 liberals from ‘purple’ districts are the ones who always need protection.

A top good candidate is Jeb Hensarling.

I'm all in favor of “Term Limits” (one term in office, two terms in Jail)

However, I am even more in favor of getting rid of Boner, or Boehner, whatever the sad sack is called.

Vote him out on Jan. 6th and if you want change vote in Ted Cruz!!!!

Here is what gets me. If Boehner decided to let this go until January and if the government shut down for a week or two who would care? The media would condemn the Republicans for a few days, the rats would go on all the Sunday shows and life would go on.

“not gonna happen. we have a rogue speaker teamed up with a rogue president”

Add a rogue senate majority leader to that list.
