Congress this week quietly passed a bill that may give unprecedented legal authority to the government's warrantless surveillance powers, despite a last-minute effort by Rep. Justin Amash to kill the bill.
Amash staged an aggressive eleventh-hour rally Wednesday night to block passage of the Intelligence Authorization Act, which will fund intelligence agencies for the next fiscal year. The Michigan Republican sounded alarms over recently amended language in the package that he said will for the first time give congressional backing to a controversial Reagan-era decree granting broad surveillance authority to the president.

This regime is up to no good, and Lord willing there will be more and MORE, and M*O*R*E coming out about that.
I’ve got 2 new major posts up on my blog, in preparation for a guest appearance on the Hagmann & Hagmann radio show tonight. There’s a lot there; if you’d like to call in tonight it might be good to look at the documentation ahead of time so you have some time to absorb the information:

thanks for the ping butter!
That’s why a vote seems unlikely to fix anything. Things are so lawless that the only thing that will change anything is sheer force.
That may be the only thing that the Ferguson thugs and American patriots both agree on right now.
I don’t know if this country can hold together.
Thanks for the updates. Posted on my twitter feed, and updated to the Dead Pool file list under Fuddy’s name.
Thank you. The dam is bursting open on this one. I was so angry at the MCPD and the FAA for lying; turns out I just needed to think about what they were really saying, in light of the statutes and regulations.
You’re welcome. Thanks for caring.
If Obama and the MSM support it, then it is a tool of the Oligarchy. That is what they mean when they say, stay the course. Really means, stay on the plantation.
But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.
Yep CWII is looming.
I guess no-one ever reads these bills anymore. The CON-gress acts surprised at the content.
Hope all is well and those nasties aren’t posting on your blog anymore.
What’s this going to do to Lewis Fuddy’s lawsuit?
Thanks for the ping!

Not sure what happened, it looked okay before I hit "Post".
So far just one reasonable Fogbow person has posted. The one who pointed out that the Word gridlines are not square, so I could realize my mistake and correct it.
That depends on whether this gets out into the general public so that what really happened has to be addressed.
There’s a lot more coming, but it’s not time yet.
If there is an honest national journalist who would like to break a big story and has the means to do so... I’d be happy to talk.
foggybottom and reasonable. that’s almost an impossibility.
worse and worse
