Yep, the 1960s....
Or heck, maybe the 1860s

The funny thing about this is that I don't believe that race relations between ordinary people are worse than they were a few years ago. There are numerous racial minorities employed in the stores where I shop, and there is NO apparent stress or hostility based on racial issues.
All of this alleged animosity is ginned up by the press, based on a handful of controversial issues and police encounters usually involving unusual circumstances, split-second decisions, and disputed facts. Typically, these incidents occur in low-income areas with high unemployment rates and inferior schools.
That leads me to believe that the real problem is not "race relations" but the failure of mostly big-city Democratic leadership to deliver on the promises they make to minorities in exchange for their votes.

I can’t speak for the large cities, but in the rural areas and small towns, there were better race relations in the north in the 1950’s and 1960’s than there are today.
Of course that is when having babies out of wedlock, black and white, was stigmatized.
It was also a time when the government did not encourage single women to have babies with financial incentives, and a time when most black babies were born into two parent families and knew who their father was.

90s?!?!? Id say since the early 60s.............
My thoughts as well. I remember those days, when my dad became much more interested in firearms.

I can not think of any other group of people who have deliberately done more to set back race relations and cause division than Obama, Holder, Sharpton, & Jackson. They want the 1960's all over again.
I think all four are unfit as spokespersons for race relations or public office for that matter. Definitely unfit as clergy. Oh and I don't base this on the color of their skin but rather by the content of the character just like I do all other persons. We are warned of {cough cough} Revuruns and publican liars. By the fruits you will know them. Blackmail, Extortion, Adultery, False Witness, Replacing church with government, Likely taking a widows last mite who donates to them as well but certainly not helping her. How many publicity & fame seeking Liars has Sharpton defended now? I lost count.
