[SNIP][...][Reid's] "somewhat belligerent tone," as the Times described it, seems to be in contrast with postelection comments made by McConnell, the incoming majority leader, who told Yahoo News last week that he hopes to work with Senate Democrats, despite their differences.

"There's not going to be a government shutdown," McConnell said before a meeting with President Obama at the White House. "The president has been way out of line with his executive amnesty, [but] shutting down the government is not the way to respond."

You see how it is. Even when their ideas are flat out REJECTED by the voters , and they get CRUSHED in an election, the Marxists don't quit and they plow ahead with their agenda.

Meanwhile the GOP-e is constantly offering up excuses why they can't oppose anything. "We on;y control 1/2 of 1/3 of the government", "we can't shut down the government." , "We don't want to be seen as [racist] [obstructionist] [--fill in the blsnk--]". This is why the GOP is rapidly becoming the Whigs, even when they win they lose.

Democrats never say quit.

Republicans never say start.

It boggles the mind what message our Republicans in Washington, D. C. think was sent by this last election.

It’s certainly lost on them.

Want to show your “progressive” bona fides re: Wall Street?

ask them to join in shutting down the Federal Reserve

The progressive nanny state will collapse

The Dems work very hard on the art of distraction.

How many Americans realize that most of the super-rich are regime affiliates?

What is McConnell’s reply? He is looking forward to working with Reid, and the Democrats in the next Congress?

Poor, bitter little Harry. The voters across this country tossed him out on his ear and now he is a powerless tyrant. Is left curled up in a corner crying and whining with his NYTimes blanky.

Sh*t stains on the walls of the local insane asylum have more value and meaning than Reid’s words in the NYT.

The democrat playbook is very, very dog-eared.

If the democrats were so in touch, they’d have won more seats than they had, not losing them.

"The 75-year-old Nevada Democrat said Republicans are at odds with Americans when it comes to environmental protection laws."

Reid has spent so much of his life suckling an obamanation he no longer recognizes an American when he sees one.
