Didn’t some idiot dress like Thomas Paine and make YouTube videos a few years ago. I remember how one in particular was so foolish that it would be impossible to rehabilitate his credibility.

Ted Cruz may be the closest. Intellectually, I could also say Sarah Palin, but she is weighed down by media bias and knee jerk negativity of the Bush wing. Her time will come in the future, but the majority public is not yet ready to accept Sarah on her own terms.
Jeff Sessions would have been great for the country, but at 67, he is most likely ready to slow his career down. Sessions may be more than ready to remove himself from the company of all those RINOs who live in fear of what the New York Times will say about them.
