Well, they still haven’t located the car. Apparently there IS a mosque in Franklin because the reporter called them. They don’t know a thing about anyone planning to take a baby there for burial.

No update posted on the web site at this time. Just posting what they reported on the early morning news a couple of minutes ago.

yet if they were filming the cop the car would have been searched, the camera confiscated and the person thrown to the pavement with a knee on the neck, later frog marched to the squad car

something is wrong with this story...along the lines of "these are not the droids you're looking for"

You need a death certificate and some sort of certificate from a funeral home to move a body.

My family has transported two bodies interstate, in coffins.

Muslims only shroud.

The officer should have asked for ID from everyone, funeral paperwork, registration and confirmed VIN from the car, as well as consulted with supervisors.

This is correct. My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of having to transport an infant daughter from AL-through TN-to KY for final burial. The law allowed us to transport from Funeral Home to Funeral Home. And yes, we had to have appropriate paperwork. In our case, we were a young couple and had to pay for all of the expenses. This was simply a cost-saving measure.

However, there’s a big difference between a Mother/Father transporting a baby casket and the situation reported in this case.

God bless you. We took our stillborn daughter from NJ to NC - hospital wouldn’t release her body to us but to a funeral home and the funeral home people were actually appalled by the cost of flying her casket commercially so they released her to us with the necessary paperwork. Unfortunately the family is dependent on the openness of the funeral home. And my uncle drove the casket of my great-uncle (and maybe my great-aunt later) from GA to NC.

They certainly wouldn’t want to tell the officer that the trunk was full of bomb making stuff.

Jeez, Eric Holder’s political correctness and “sensitivity” training have made idiots of some law enforcement officers.

Given who they are hiring to be cops these days, it's not that far of a journey from where they started before the training.

They finally posted an update and it doesn't jive with what was reported on tv at 4:00 this morning. The thing that jumps out is the reporter spoke to someone at the mosque in Franklin and they said they had no plans for any child burials.

At present (2:00 p.m. Central) they have the video of the 4 a.m. report at the link, maybe to show that what they're being told now doesn't jive with it. Maybe Channel 5 isn't buying this either.

Here again, it is a matter of the authorities putting on the kneepads and kissing anything associated with Islam. We have become deathly afraid of the bearded barbarians.

Hopefully the muzzies were transporting a child’s body (I doubt it) instead of explosives.

Since they’ve stopped looking for those guys, we’ll never know what was in the trunk.

Based on the people who called in to Nashville’s talk radio station today, this has folks hacked off. Rightly so. Even if these guys did have a dead baby, muzzies who want to transport a bomb through TN know exactly how to get away with it.

But isn’t it so that, when cops stop a car on the highway, they also record license plate, etc. even before they approach the car?

There is something odd in the fact that they can’t find the car.

We are being hoodwinked by muzzies all day long and the time will come that we will sorely regret letting these fifth columnist roam freely in our country.

The car had a temporary tag that was hard to read and that’s why the car was stopped to begin with.

Since they spoke to a coroner and he vouched for their story, they aren’t looking for the car any more. They’ve updated the whole thing at the link.

Like I said earlier, the part of this story that really doesn’t jive is the burial at the mosque. The person there that the reporter spoke to said there were no burials scheduled.

I fully agree we’ll regret letting muzzies swarm our country. More than enough families already do.

Was it a muzzie coroner with a taqiyya tongue?

They didn't say and I doubt we'll ever find out.
