MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. – Officials in Robertson and Sumner Counties are searching for a car that could be carrying the body of a deceased child.

Officials with the Millersville Police Department said an officer pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 65 South around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday because it had a temporary tag that was difficult to read.

Three men were inside the vehicle. A man claiming to be from Saudi Arabia told the officer they were traveling from Bowling Green, Kentucky to Franklin to bury a child in accordance with their Islamic faith.

*snip*

Not wanting to disrupt a religious ceremony, the officer allowed them to leave.

Three muzzie men tell a police officer not to look in the trunk and they just let the guys go???? When it's all over the news that jihadi groups are foaming at the mouth over the released CIA report?

My money says there was no baby in there. Good chance it's bomb-making materials.

“...My money says there was no baby in there. Good chance it’s bomb-making materials.”

Yep, the likelihood of a baby being there is small. It could be as you suggest or, possibly, it could be along the lines of a dead victim of a Muslim “honor killing” or a dead (possibly alive) Muslim they consider a traitor.

Jeez, Eric Holder’s political correctness and “sensitivity” training have made idiots of some law enforcement officers.

I have a feeling the officer who let them go got a reaming from the police chief.

“Hindman said the officer made a mistake and was dealt with according to what he thought was appropriate.”

The key words, in my mind, are “was dealt with”.

There is a win-win technique that could be employed.
The motorists could refuse to allow their car to be searched without a warrant.
The officer could then go through the exercise of obtaining one for a roadside search.
If the vehicle turns out to be completely "clean" the motorists can then drive away happy.
If there is evidence of criminality, they get arrested.
Everyone wins.

Well, if I had something illegal in the trunk and wanted to convince the police to not look in there, telling them a dead body was in there would not seem like a good idea to me. I’m not sure what a better story would be, but it seems like almost any story would be better.

“Everyone wins.”

Ah, but what about the police who want to search but don’t have probable cause to get a warrant?

“Father”? Actually nothing else in the article tells us that 1 of these men claimed to be father of the alleged dead child.

“blue Dodge Charger with a rear-spoiler and black rims.”

LOL, so un-Moslem like. I don’t picture them in those at all!

sh* what an effing idiot, the information that there is a dead body in the trunk is enough for probable cause in any book without a warrant because it is a car

What was posted above about Holder’s political correctness and “sensitivity” training is true and muzzies know it. All they have to do is claim “religious beliefs” and they get a pass way too often.

The whole story they told stinks and the officer should have known better. If nothing else, he should have called it in and asked what he should do.

I’m not buyin’ their story and hope they find that car soon.

I am neither lawyer nor cop, but I would bet that there is a law against just anyone riding around with a body in their car.

I suspect you have to be a licensed mortician to move a body.

Anyway, they told the cop there was a body in the car. That is reason enough to call for a warrant if the driver does not cooperate.

There’s nothing about the story they told that passes the smell test. My mouth dropped open when I heard them report it on the 10:00 news.

As for the car, I’ve seen some young ones driving sporty vehicles around here. Not many but there are some who do. A lot of young men, no matter where they come from, just have a thing for a “hot” ride. LOL!

“I suspect you have to be a licensed mortician to move a body.”

I saw a bit from the making of the movie “Bad Grandpa” where they were trying to get people to help them put a body (a fake one) in a hole dug with a backhoe, or in the trunk of their car. They tried it in one place, in Michigan I think, and nobody wanted anything to do with it (though I don’t think anyone called the cops). Then, they tried the bit in another shooting location, down south, and they got 3 different people to help them out in one day. I thought that was funny, that there seemed to be a cultural difference as to how big a deal casually disposing of a body was.

That's what I'd think too. I first heard about it on the radio at 5:00 this evening and thought, "What the heck?????"

Any white American traveling with the body of a child will be in deep trouble.

But if you’re a muzzie, it’s OK. Did they ask for a death certificate or was the story of an “honor” killing good enough to let them go?

We are screwing ourselves as a nation with these bearded barbarians among us.

"...Ah, but what about the police who want to search but don’t have probable cause to get a warrant?..."

The motorist told the officer there was a DEAD BODY in the trunk.
That will likely satisfy 99.99% of requests for a vehicle search warrant.

ANYONE other than a muzzie travelling with the body of a child would be in deep trouble. There’s no excuse for muzzies to get a pass.

They need to find that car and find out what’s in the trunk.
Since it was reported on the radio and they might have heard it, if they have something in there that they reeeeeeally don’t want anyone to know about, they’re hiding.

Without probable cause, the police cannot detain you in order to get a search warrant.

You’re darn right he’s an idiot. I see desk duty in his future - - like beginning tomorrow, if not tonight.
