A segment on today's Ed Show was very instructive as to what lies not far beneath the surface for many in the current protest movement.
Two guests, discussing Ferguson and Staten Island, agreed that a key problem in America is . . . capitalism. First up was Rosa Clemente, a "hip hop activist" and 2008 Green Party VP candidate: "Capitalism, I think that is the institution all over this country. It is really the oppressive force." Next, Georgetown Prof. Marcia Chatelain, who said that the current moment has revealed "an incredible critique of capitalism that it isn't just police brutality but the way people are forced to live." IF socialism is so great, why does it have to be enforced by an oppressive government?
I have read The Communist Manifesto. Karl Marx admits that it take capitalism to build the industrial base. Once a Communist society is established, there can be no real expansion, in fact he describes at best a slow decline. But it’s “fair”, and that is all that matters. Everyone would be equally miserable (except the nomenklatura that make up the dictatorship of the proletariat).

Only free markets can operate w/o government coercion; all other economic systems require government force to work at all.

Ok so since this he/she thinks that Communism is so freakin awesome I have a great idea..send her to North Korea..or Venezuela where you have to wait hours to get toilet paper..she can just use her hand to wipe her ass instead..they think Communism is SO great, let’s see how long they can last living under Communism

Isn’t hip hop music produced by capitalism.? Weren’t Usher and Kanye West made quite wealthy by capitalism? So shut yo’ mouf’ woman. You got no business preaching to others you hypocrite.
Yes, of course. It’s about creating and maintaining a permanent underclass which is always unhappy and angry, which will one day rise up against their capitalist ‘oppressors.’
