Kerry to Congress: Don’t rule out U.S. ground war against Islamic State
Yahoo ^ | 12/10 | Oliver Knox

Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday asked lawmakers debating legislation to authorize the war against the so-called Islamic State not to rule out the use of U.S. ground troops in combat.

“The president has been clear that his policy is that U.S. military forces will not be deployed to conduct ground combat operations,” Kerry began.

“However,” he added, "while we certainly believe this is the soundest policy, and while the president has been clear he's open to clarifications on the use of U.S. combat troops to be outlined in an AUMF, that does not mean we should preemptively bind the hands of the commander-in-chief — or our commanders in the field — in responding to scenarios and contingencies that are impossible to foresee.”

We don’t need any stupid ground war in the middle east.

Why are we protecting Muslims from other Muslims?

Oh, that’s right, they’ll be so grateful and be our friends .... just like NEVER.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

“Why are we protecting Muslims from other Muslims?”

See? This has always been my thought. Let them kill each other off, until someone wins and they’re all left in one place. Then, we drop the bomb.

Trying to keep the peace between them is, pardon the pun, a losing battle.

3000 troops already in Iraq. If they’re not ground troops, I’ll eat my hat.

Hey, maybe we could send Kerry over there with a rifle and let him shoot guys in the back. That’s his strong suit—that and shooting people in the back, then going to Congress to complain about what bad things others were doing.

That’s what Kerry said about war against Iraq in 1998 as well.

Don’t worry about the muzzies in the ME — worry about those that are here and the thousands that are still to come.

We’re fighting the muzzies in the ME and, at the same time, we’re letting them in by the thousands, not knowing how many terrorists are among them.

WTH is wrong with our government? Is it pushing for the islamization of this country?

"There are all kinds of atrocities and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free-fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50-caliber machine guns, which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search-and-destroy missions, in the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare. All of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions...."

Is it just me, or does anyone else pass over any story with a headline about what Kerry thinks, like another vacuous article about the Kardashian skanks?

We’ve got B-52’s still, right?

Sure, we’ve been using them to drop ‘smart bombs’ all along.

Why not just go back to high altitude flights, with ‘dumb bombs’, as we did in Vietnam? We do NOT need precision strikes. We need obliteration. Anybody that remembers what one flight of B-52’s can do, loaded with a full load of ‘dumb bombs’ can do.

On the other hand, with anti-America, anti-war, Communist-loving Kerry, I don’t expect much.

Excuse me, but I thought Kerry's boss, Obama, ruled out any boots on the ground in this fight. Is there some magical way to fight a ground war in Iraq against ISIS without boots on the ground? Or is this just another lying scheme by Obama saying one thing to satisfy his far-left base and then doing another to get the job done? If that's the case, it's understandable that the chicken sh*t would send Kerry out to make this announcement, instead of doing it himself.

You may be fooling your leftist base, Barry, but the rest of us see right through your horse crap.

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'
Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]

You’d be protecting innocent petroleum deposits from ravaging Muslims, oh, and maybe some Yazidis, Allawites, Christians, and Kurds, too. All in all, not a bad thing to do, but it is very bad to have these people in charge.

Put a virtual fence up surrounding these animals, no immigration, no flights in or out and let them kill each other to the last Koranimal. I always thought we were involved STRICTLY because of the Straits of Hormuz? We don’t need these cretins if we used our heads, not the Dims reasoning.
