You seem to live in flatland, where there is only two directions, two choices, and everything is binary.

One can refuse to accept something, without being happy with the alternative. One can prefer one thing over another, without being happy about that one thing.

As an example, I refuse to accept Cromnibus, but I’d hardly be “happy” with the CR that would pass in its stead. I’d PREFER the CR over the Cromnibus.

So whatever happens in the primaries, I will cast the vote in the general election that is most likely to prevent a democrat from winning.

And like every election, my vote in the primary will be meaningless as either the nomination will be locked up before i cast my vote, or else the good candidates will somehow fail to qualify for the ballot in my state. That’s not a prediction, just my pessimistic expectation.
