All you have to do is shoot one or two and the rest will run like hell. Problem solved.

Nah... all you have to do is get the word out that a few of the drivers were pulled out of their car and beaten or shot... if the cars stop slowing and flatten a few protestors, just as effective as shooting. and better yet, the likelihood of a liberal being the one to mow down a protestor is pretty high in this area.
Personally, I think they should get armed citizens out there to work in concert with law enforcement.
