Russell Simmons, co-founder of Def Jam Recordings, appeared on CNN last night on Out Front with Erin Burnett to warn there are more protests coming if "demands" were not met.
We are seeing the beginning of the end of police policing the police, he added.
"On Wednesday, we are going to ask for indictments and list of achievable demands." ('We' referring to high profile celebrities and athletes that share Simmons' beliefs.)
"And America has not seen protests like those that are coming if justice doesn't start to come down," warned Simmons.
Simmons told Burnett, "Over 150K cases were brought before the grand Jury and and only 11 cases didn't come back with indictments. It's like lightening striking the black community over and over and over again."
We need special oversight committees, we shouldn't leave it to DAs who work with the police, explained Simmons.
Burnett asked, "You don't feel defeated that has happened again and again and again" to which Simmons responded "We're going to get indictments now because America hasn't seen what's coming."
"When people understand the injustice properly, the way these protestors understand it, they're all going to fight for justice, and that's going to change this system."

And dont forget Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge. America and the West was gripped by riots caused by home-grown Bolsheviks and talks of revolution. People flocked to the phrases “A Return to Normalcy” and “Keep Cool With Coolidge” because they had had enough of war, chaos, and revolutionaries.

It’s not so much as having the “means” to defend yourself as it is having the “will” to defend yourself.
People living in the more rural areas generally speaking not only have the means but the will to defend themselves because there is no one else to do it.
In the cities people lean more left wing and depend on the govt to defend them.
Most don’t have the means to defend themselves and if they do have the means they probably don’t have the will because they are afraid of legal problems for themselves.
Their response will be to simply flee the cities until it’s safe to return.
When the productive members of society flee the cities and their jobs the economy will tank.
IMO, this is a coordinated attack against the economy.
So, the issue is, lies trump truth. Mob lynching trumps courts of lay. Interesting. It seems to me the solution would be the truth. Go after those spreading lies am causing riots. Sounds like Simmons wants riots. How is that justice when it’s all based on lies?
Sure about that? Prove it or otherwise this will be consider to be this coming from a tinfoil hat wearing poster.

The civil rights movement, having outlived it’s true calling, has now set about turning American blacks into American Palestinians.

More incitement to riot? Well, since Brown’s step father was allowed to do so for fear of...riots if they tried to prosecute him, it’s time for Def Jam et. al. to step up and demand their equal rights to incite riots that burn cities and injure first responders. We’ve received the domestic terrorists demands so it’s not like we weren’t warned...
Russell Simmonsis worth over 300 million, because of discrimination by white people. He ain’t in the burning neighborhoods. He is in Beverly Hills.
If they are so committed to achieving their “demands”, I would like to see ONE PERSON of these activists or whatever they call themselves, come up with ONE piece of legislation they might submit, that would create whatever new law they think they need or change whatever law/s they feel is/are hurting them.
Just going around making demands is not the way to bring about change in a civilized society. But I guess it works that way for the gays, illegals, etc., so they probably feel empowered to go for it.

It is organized and planned. Those lazy ass race baiters are getting paid to make trouble.
If inner city blacks burn down all the edifices in all the black neighborhoods in all the major cities in the country, then what? If they bring it to other neighborhoods, they will be slaughtered.
One would hope this is considered and another approach drawn out.
The kind of thinking required cannot be race baiting, and cannot come from the lionization of some thug(s) the likes of Rodney King, Travvon Martin and Michael Brown. I’m not just another racist demanding these rules, real progress demands these rules. There are real cases of good folks that should be used to curb police brutality, and many cases of courts not keeping thugs locked up after police go to the trouble of getting them off the streets.
