Careful, I didn’t say abstinence from alcohol. I specifically said Bourbon.

The self-correcting Free Market is a wonderful thing.

We went to Ocracoke Island in September and one of our fraternity brothers made Old Fashions. Very cool drink.

Okay, good. You should be free to partake of the drink of your choice (as long as it isn’t absinthe).

I like Wild Turkey (the 101 variety), Knob Creek, Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace. Makers Mark seems a bit thin to me. You may as well drink Dr. Pepper. But that’s just me.

Do away with the EPA. Do away with the Dept. of Education - which educates not one soul. Do away with an “ebola” czar. We need a Bourbon Czar!

I have some Knob Creek and Wild Turkey left but thats all.
I’m more worried about the 18yr Glenlivet.

I’ve moved from Jim Beam to Early Times. ET seems smoother to me. Of course, a fifth will last me 6 months.

It’s times like that where you just want to split in half.
Or develop an edible bacon gun, or a gun that shoots bacon (for the middle east...)....

What’s the knock on absinthe? Don’t know much about it.

Looking for advice: I inherited some prewar scotch from my dad.
A Haig & Haig Pinch and a ceramic jug of Red Hackle. Both are unopened. I know it doesn’t age after bottling, and I know these were not the premium scotches of the day. Would like to find a value. Would rather sell them to put a kid through school than drink.
Any ideas? Please be nice!
To: edpc
Perhaps I’ll try it at a bar neat. Before committing to a whole 5th.

Is it laced with junk or is it just bad on its own? Hallucinogenic?

Get on a drink forum where there may be collectors and ask around. Be careful because you’d be doing business with unknown people.

I’ve had the Beam rye. It’s a nice change of pace.
