Americans would have an excellent opportunity to make some real AMERICAN HISTORY for a change. A write in candidate wins the presidency. Cruz/Palin or Palin/Cruz. Works for me. It would be a hoot watching ‘RAT and GOP heads exploding simultaneously. Chalk one up for America.

After the 2012 Obama win, I thought there wouldn’t be another R president in my lifetime.
But these two years after, things have really imploded for the Dems.
The fact that odds have improved will bring a wide variety of seekers for the R slot.

If Cruz doesn’t get it because of some trickery, then we write him in.

No one will misspell his name, that’s for sure.

Yeah....but all those written in Cursive.....?

It’s difficult to think of any of the three of them as a Republican.

If one of these three becomes the GOP nominee, I’m staying home in November

You, me and every true conservative who helped “them” gain the House and the Senate this time around because it was the last chance to save the Republican party. It WILL be the death of the GOP. The last non-elite pick for President who came from “we the people” and was Ronald Reagan. Since then, the gop-e has picked every presidential candidate and is 0 for 5 on winners.

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida and Mitt Romney.

No. No. No.

... and so do “they.” This is why the rules are severely stacked against non-establishment candidates. Stacking the primaries to dilute Conservatives worked so well (winner take all where their guys would win and proportional otherwise) among others, they have really clamped down for this race.

I won’t stay home. I’ll write in someone (cruz if he wants the job)...

there will likely be down ticket races with people worth voting for.

Conservatives need to do the same thing and agree on ONE best conservative and back that one in every primary from coast to coast.

There are more conservatives voting in the primaries, but we win up splitting our votes 7 ways to Sunday and the RINO wins!

There was a “republican survey” on Fox news that said pubs wanted Bush by about 65%. WHAT!!!! Who in the hell did they poll? Certainly now anyone I know. If pubs pull another McCain I am going to be really mad as hell. I may change to independent.

Romney or Bush or Christie:

I’ll find a third party candidate who actually wants to shrink government.

We don’t need another Uniparty Candidate.

The conversations, described in interviews with a variety of the Republican Party’s most sought-after donors, are centered on the three potential candidates who have the largest existing base of major contributors

That is, its all about the money, and screw the ideology and the little guy.

Strategically that is a good move.

In the 2012 elections, the Republican fratricide was as funny as it was tragic to watch. A few good candidates were flushed by the wannabes that have already evaporated in the eyes of history.

This next cycle we should have two or three real worthy candidates in the primaries. Tell Donald Trump, Ron Paul, Newt, Buddy Roemer, Huckabee, Jon Huntsman (who??) to go away early and often.

Makes no difference who the GOPe likes. As I have written before, I will vote for Ted Cruz for POTUS in 2016. How ‘bout you?
