'I Don’t Feel Like It's A Black And White Thing': Eric Garner's Wife Denies Racism A Factor In Death

The chokehold death of Eric Garner in NYPD custody wasn’t “a black-and-white thing,” his widow said Sunday — a stunning admission that breaks sharply from lawmakers and protesters who have seized on the racial aspect of the case.

Esaw Snipes said she believed her husband was “murdered unjustly,” but said skin color wasn’t a factor behind his fatal arrest for allegedly selling loose cigarettes on Staten Island last summer.

You’re right about black culture being messed up

Well, I said "modern black culture".

Much of American Black Culture is incredible, from their obvious contributions to the arts and music, jazz players and composers, all the Blues genres, Rock-n-Roll, New Orleans music, Zydeco, Southern cuisine etc. The Black Baptists are some of the sweetest kindest people you could ever hope to have as friends.

All integral to, and largely responsible for the fabric of American culture.

Now "rap" gangbangers, Black Liberation "Theology"...the Black Caucasians, racebaiters and other Crack Ho's.....IT'S ALL GARBAGE!

I would think you've had no more experiences with the police but considering a Judge or officer could legally take your life I would consider deference.
I thought it was possible the police thought you were driving recklessly. All you have to do is change lanes while speeding as cops see it.
They are sitting by the slde of the highway and I think cars pass too fast to pick on tourist.
You had a lot of great responsibility, but it must have been the 21 in you that had you forgetting your speed.

Have a good one. Hope the police did not take a bribe back then, that would be the worst.

That is what I wondered, did they take and expect a bribe? A ticket is one thing, a bribe means you should have turned in a criminal.

If I offered to pay to get out of trouble, then it would be a bribe.

He made me give him my cash.

Why are you having such a problem condemning that?

Making you give him cash is illegal and I hope you reported him.
That is among the worst things I’ve ever heard.

That’s not a typo, that’s what Rush calls the Congressional Black Caucus. (who won’t allow conservatives or whites)

Good point.

What changed? What made black culture the mess it is today? What happened in the 60’s and 70's that devastated a culture that survived slavery?

Most reasons are obvious and well known... welfare, dependency, urban renewal, etc. etc... One cause is hidden - : white radical feminists accidentally created a black matriarchy... Not only were men tossed for the ‘ever-so-reliable’ welfare paycheck, but black men were denied access to good jobs.

In the 60’s and 70’s with the advent of affirmative action came the force that ushered in ‘modern black culture’...

Affirmative action.

Companies were told they had to hire a certain number of blacks AND women. To make that easier companies hired black women - a twofer covering both categories with one hire. The black matriarchy was born... and with it the destruction of the traditional black family.

I agree — there should be NO policing in ANY ‘black community’ for a period of one year, see which they prefer.
