What are you guys afraid of?
Besides their own shadows? The beltway media. They simply cannot take being thought of a "conservative troglodytes by the national press.
I am so glad that my wife and I withdrew our registration as Republicans and registered as Independents after Mittens pulled his punches in the 2012 campaign.
My “Harlem Globetrotter” theory: In a 2-party system, the job security of the second team is exactly equal to that of the number one team. They are more secure as losers than as leaders.
I think they probably have footage of him drunk and bent over with a tranny behind him...
That all changed this month, with all the rioting and protests. Look for the repeats of 1968 and 1972 White House wise.
Does Mass have open Primaries? Voting in the Primaries IS MORE IMPORTANT than the general election.
A sizable majority of the GOP Members of Congress want full amnesty and want Obamacare, or something like it.
They’re not stupid, and they’re not afraid.
They are allowing “Obama” to run interference and take the blame for their own policy preferences.
Maybe they’re not afraid.
Maybe they are dedicated to the actions which they promised to oppose during their campaigns.
Brilliant, because it is true!
The Uniparty must be destroyed.
This has nothing whatsoever to do with the Republican leadership being “afraid” or “spineless”. These guys are all bought and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce/corporatists who want lots of cheap labor.
Having Obama do all this by imperial decree right after the election so Boehner and McConnell can feign outrage but not do anything is a perfect bit of theater. The assumption is that we’re stupid enough to go along with the fiction of “spineless” Republicans who can’t stand up to that nasty, lawless Obama.
If you want to see a display of a ballsy fearless backboned warrior just try to get in the way of Boehner or McConnell getting their hands on some Chamber of Commerce funds.
DC should be returned to the productive swamp it once was. Maybe we could force the EPA to undo the damage done to our wetlands.
“What are you guys afraid of?”
What they are not afraid of is their constituents. Hence the problem.
What they are afraid of is the K street lobbyists and their Chamber of Commerce backers (multinational corporations and lobbyists). The money flow from big business funds their campaigns and thereby gives them their power. Without the money, there is no power and power is what Boehner and McConnell crave.
Big business has four objectives:
1) Silence the conservative (Tea Party) wing of the party on social issues
2) Pass amnesty
3) Sustain Obamacare so it can be transitioned to single payer under the next Democrat administration. Companies want out of the obligation of providing health care to employees.
4) Capturing as many subsidies, tax loopholes, grants, and government contracts as they can.
Boehner and McConnell are hard at work on carrying out this agenda. As far as preserving liberty for the general population? Not a moment of thought. Follow the money and the average voter doesn’t contribute to the party.
Maybe the NRA should form a political party. At least we would have a better idea of where their candidates stand on the issues.
At least that much and he may not have been drunk.
with a lot less work to do as well.
So we don’t have phones and pens?
Get your rep on the line and raise hell.
Or did conservatives go back into lazy mode after November, and would rather write 12000 blog posts about what GOPer X said today?
I guarantee you Hillary will articulate clearer anti-Obama policy positions in 2016 than her Republican opponent.
