Everything is illegal in CA except illegally crossing the border.
The best way to approach this is to create imaginary contests and send state officials on wild goose chases. Then they can expand the imaginary hunts to endangered animals, and really drive the fruitcakes nuts. For example.
January 7 - California Condor Hunt. Grand prize $100,000.
Cockroaches, tomato worms, mosquitoes, ...
No more contests??? Oh no.
How is this any different than a fishing derby?
I’d like to check you for ticks.
I’d be interested to know how the California Fish and Game Commission ended up having the right to do this. Seems to me like this should be a question for the Legislature to decide. Of course, this is California, so the Legislature would probably vote the same way, but still....
Drip...drip...drip...another ramp-up of little chips in the right to bear arms or hunt, etc., under the guise of “animal rights” this time, begins again...keep an eye on this one.
Then We The People should have Catch and Release Contests, don’t much matter where you catch ‘em, but to count they must be released in downtown Sacramento...
Don't give them any ideas.................
“We follow Geneva Hague even if the opposing side doesnt.”
Those are next.
I can’t recall ever VOTING FOR anyone of the California Fish & Game Commission. Wondering if these are the same a-holes that drove the price of a fishing license up to forty something dollars a year. A friend was telling me about that. I haven’t been fishing in years. Was $5.00 for a license when I was fishing.
I don’t understand where these commissioners get their authority to wantonly impose restrictions that seem to me the responsibility of our elected representatives in Sacramento. Sounds like California has taken a page from D.C.
Maybe Camilla is worried about Fox hunts...
Don't let the name fool you, more like rabid rabbit. I wonder How Camilla feels about the children and pets targeted by overly populous and aggressive coyotes here in California, wait already know, the Coyotes are more important than someone's child.
Coming soon: “California countryside overrun with predators, state at a loss to explain it”
There are apparently no limits to government stupidity.
California seems to be leading the nation in that department.
Sorry, DC has been and continues to be the reigning champ on stupidity!
A while back a California Game commissioner came to idaho, bought a tag, and killed a lion. Went home happy until the residents tried to crucify him for a totally legal act. I think they may have succeeded.
They did succeed, he is no longer commissioner. Seemingly, the man in charge of hunting may not hunt.
Well, hunting is murder, after all. Just ask most californians.
