....I hope he runs for Cassidy’s seat in the House.

***************

The CD 6th seat was won by Garrett Graves in a runoff
against former Gov. Edwin Edwards.

Yeah, I didn’t ask about Cassidy.

The House is where the important things are happening.

Yes...it is the EWE....the felon...jailbird...who’s co-conspirator, John Alario, was hand picked by “Bobby” Jindal to be the Senate President after he swapped from D, to R.

Go Piyush Jindal, 2016! /sarc

The New Orleans precincts are coming in now that the margin is too great to manufacture those extra votes.

With 77% of the precincts in statewide, it is now Cassidy with 58.17%, Landrieu with with 41.83%.

By contrast, 98% of the precincts are in in the 5th congressional district, Abraham leads Mayo by 64.64% to 35.36%.

83% of the precincts in the 6th congressional district are reporting. Edwards trails Graves 35.53% to 64.47%.

All-in-all, almost identical to the party totals on November 4th.

In other words, the names and faces change, but it’s still the same old, same old.

God, I hate what we’ve allowed them to do to our once great country.

Looks like it will finish 57-43 or so. A thumping but hardly historic.

You gotta give Edwin credit for have brass balls in the NBA range.

Happy that Louisiana showed him the door. Its inspiring to see that no matter what, the old “Yeller Dog Dems” we all grew up with are almost gone.

It was closer than it should have been. Miss Piggy’s goons could not make it work. Too bad Miss. Piggy. Have your last breakfast tomorrow with a fat slice of bacon—similar to all the fat you have illegally foisted on us. Good bye Miss Piggy, the fat Miss Piggy lady has sung her song and she was not amused.

You have to factor in the voter fraud and it won’t be close.

Cassidy’s 5th District seat was won by another GOP insider, Garrett Graves easily defeating disgraced former governor Edwin Edwards. Maness’ impressive performance in the November elections on a shoe string budget means the state GOP will likely eye him for some state level office next year, perhaps Lt Gov or a run against Democrat Bob (?) Donnolon the state insurance commissioner.

Cassidy is the 6th district Representative. Vance McAllister represented the 5th. Jamie Mayo (D) won the 5th. I don’t know where you get your info from...Graves won the 6th vs EWE.
