If a suspect refuses arrest what’s the police supposed to do let them go?
Stopping someone over something as inconsequential as a cigarette tax is stupid enough to begin with. Using such force over it is absurd.
Fact is many cops get real angry when you do not obey them. Garner was killed for ‘contempt of cop’.
Yes, the police must decline to arrest them if they don’t feel like being arrested that day if they are black. If it’s anyone else the police may go ahead and do what civilized societies do and take them into custody. That’s what the new rules will be.
