Antarctic sea ice reached a record high this year, topping 20 million square kilometers (nearly 8 million square miles) in September a milestone it hadn't touched since 1979.
It's a fact climate change deniers are fond of repeating. If the planet is warming, shouldn't sea ice be melting away rather than growing?
It's true that the phenomenon is a confusing one but it's no proof that climate change isn't happening. In fact, scientists believe that climate change is actually responsible for the strange events down in the Antarctic.
The first thing to note is that sea ice and land ice are two completely different things.
Snowfall could also be a factor. It's unclear how much snowfall has fluctuated over the past few decades in Antarctica, but experts believe it will increase as the climate continues to warm.
Even wind could be part of the answer. Climate change is altering weather patterns all over the globe.
So while the Earth's natural processes may sometimes be strange and confusing, there's no reason to doubt that climate change is really happening. In fact, science indicates that it may be responsible for some of the most surprising phenomena we're observing on the planet.

Yep. Pure propaganda.
By this logic, even though I don’t see smoke or flames, I should probably call the department to report my house being on fire. Lack of smoke or flame doesn’t mean my house isn’t on fire!
It doesn’t matter what the sea ice is doing. It doesn’t matter that the climate changes.
What matters is that there is no evidence governments can control the climate of the planet.
So stop acting like it can be done.
Chelsea, what is the “normal” temperature range for the Earth?
All the government funding and propaganda is proof that the government wants to control the means of production.
There's no proof whatsoever that could change the minds of global warmists.

Is that a picture of the author, CHELSEA HARVEY?
Might as well be.
Expanding on that:
1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet’
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
That should all be easy enough to do.
Freakin’ libiots.
“Climate Change” can also mean it’s getting colder...
there’s no reason to doubt that climate change is really happening.....Because I SAY SO, GODDAMMIT.
The test of a hypothesis is its ability to predict results, not rationalize unexpected results to fit back into the theory.
What would a young skull full of mush who lives in New Yawk City and writes for the Business Insider know about Antarctic sea ice? Penguins don’t know anything about business.
The article is a good explanation of why all the anecdotal “evidence” for global warming is meaningless.
It’s a picture of the author of the Big Lie theory.
Human-caused climate change, for example.
“All the government funding and propaganda is proof that the government wants to control the means of production.”
Give that man a seegar!!!
(The scu*bags will be at it until they destroy the system or take hold of it by way of subverting it.)
IMHO
Foul ball!
