Everybody knows that Bernie Sanders, the grandfatherly Independent Senator from Vermont is a socialist. He’s made no secret of it over the years, proudly proclaiming to anyone who will listen. To most people it’s no big deal: “at least he’s honest,” they’ll chuckle. Most people seem to imagine that Grandpa Bernie’s socialism is benign, owing much more to Sweden than Cuba, much more to modern West Germany, than to the old German Democratic Republic.
But is Bernie Sanders really being honest? What if he is actually more of a communist? A believer in class struggle? Of crushing the free enterprise system?
Does it matter? The man is a US Senator. His vote could decide the nomination of a Supreme Court Justice, or ratify a gun banning treaty with the United Nations. He is even seriously exploring a presidential run on the Democratic ticket. Damned right his real views matter.

Many folks now do not think Communism is so bad.
Now that the lines between right and wrong are blurred, anything goes. It’s all about power and money. You have the power to take from those who have the money.
Sanders is still creeping around? I had so hoped he had passed on to the Void he believes exists.
I’d ask what the real world difference between the two is. Because there isn’t one if we are going to be honest. The only question is why so socialist teachers go our of the way to avoid teaching that?
OK, that wasn’t honest. I and all of us know exactly why.

It would be a minor sacrifice for the cause. It might also make one audit-proof, or at least audit-resistant.
Send him a dollar. He’ll spend $80 in mailings trying to get another dollar out of you.
Same with Fascism but at least with Fascism if you brag about it in public people will think you are odd and shun you.
Not so with the Communism and Communist leaders.

Despite our particular feelings on the subject, it is not actually illegal to be a Communist.
Bernie Sanders runs pretty openly as a Communist, and his constituents keep re-electing him. If they are that stupid/midguided/envious/ill-informed to continue to do so, there’s really not much the rest of us can do about it.
I frankly do find him a bit refreshing as opposed to all of the other Democrats, who attempt to keep their Communism hidden behind smokscreens of shuck and jive.

What is not amusing is that the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave was rated as being further left than Bernie when they were both in the Senate.
All these Dems and the rinos are essentially communists because that’s exactly where their policies will take this country.
I think it’s very likely that this country is headed for an unprecedented economic collapse. It could be a race war, medical martial law, a hot war with Russia or Iran, or some type of terrorist attack (facilitated and/or encouraged by the 0bununists).
When the SHTF, a currency collapse we will result in a back holiday, bail in, a new global currency substantially devaluing the dollar, and nationalization and/or confiscation of 401k, pensions.
The result will be massive business failures resulting in bankruptcies and foreclosures. Banks, essentially government entities right now, will then own all of these properties. The state will own everything via banks. The exempt large multinational corporations, large banks and global government institutions will own everything.
Nothing about Bernie Sanders is benign. He really does not like the way America once worked and how it still could, the greatest good for the greatest number. He gets so fixated on the “left-behind” crowd that he wants to stop the whole march, even shooting the leaders of that march in the knees, if he thinks it might give the fallen sparrow a chance to take flight again.
Not a thought to simply scooping up the fallen sparrow and bearing it along as an act of charity by the others in the nearby vicinity, it has to be everybody taking up the burden, or nobody is allowed to move.
