Government never stops lying, does it? They just couldn't say "we're gonna clean out these bums and put them in real homes at the taxpayers' expense."

What is “affordable housing” when you have no income?
No mention of homeless in the MSM in the past 6 yrs.
Republican assume control of Congress.
Suddenly!
My take on these “homeless” camps is that they are largely occupied by people who choose to be homeless, or at least people who can’t or won’t hold down a job that would provide them the income to pay for a place to live. Plus many desire to live a lifestyle that would get them evicted from any decent place to live. Towns and cities used to have vagrancy laws that would run these people out of town.
Of course, there are among them people who have mental health issues and should be under care, but in our wisdom we decided that we can’t force crazy people to stay in treatment unless they present a clear danger to themselves or others.
