Count on Bawney to sniff out an opportunity to raise the gasoline tax and spend it on mass transportation.

Shove it, Bawney.

Oh forgot, it’s already occupied.

The government already makes more on a gallon of gas than the oil company that drilled the well, shipped it to the refinery, refined it, and shipped it to the gas station. And the government does NOTHING for it.

He just sees an opportunity to sneak in a tax that won’t be felt immediately given the drop in gas prices. JERK! It is a sneaky and dishonest ploy.

I support higher fuel taxes, but only on Bawney Fwank and his socialist pals.

Why does the gov’t need more taxes, Barney?
I know you think that all good comes from gov’t, and that’s why any additional resources can only do good,

but others believe in a demonstrable truth that gov’t is dangerous to life and liberty,
and therefore any resources will be used to our detriment.

Tax homosexuals.

Their lifestyles are high risk and add to the costs of health care.

What’s overdue is the LOWERING of wasteful government spending. There is already more than enough revenue to cover legitimate expenses of all kinds but there will never be enough money to fund the endless stream of programs, boondoggles, and bureaucratic waste. Cut the fat!

The government would have plenty of money for bridges and roads if they weren’t supporting a gimsmedat generation of millions.

The “ultra-liberal” ever concerned for the well being of the “little people” sticks it to them once again.
With the price of gas coming down, he wants to raise the gas tax so the gummint can reap the fortunes rather than the people.
This phony liberal states his desire to make every last thing people need MORE costly. Going to work and back, every article in the family grocery cart, every article of clothing bought, the cost of everything delivered by motor vehicle, and everything else you can think of.
Open evidence showing why this clown is NOT missed here in Taxachusetts.

Yo! Barney! How about a butt plug tax!!! I think a $200 tax on all sodomite sex toys could be used to pay for AIDS research or some other worthy liberal cause!

Libs and Watermelons are in a tizzy over lower gas prices.

They believe that taxes should be used to artificially inflate gas prices to encourage alt fuels and conservation.

Least that’s the excuse. As we know, the real reason is to put cash in their pockets.

One has to wonder if former Congressman Barney Frank had to pay for any fuel costs or were all his transportation costs paid by taxpayers for the more than THIRTY years he was in office?

If I did not have to deal with vehicle payments, fuel, oil, maintenance, or insurance for my entire adult life...I might be generous with other people's money, too! No thanks, Mr. Frank, we are fine with the marketplace not having to deal with any more of your tax hike notions.

Well, that didn’t take long.

Posted 11/29 here: “Wifey reports that someone on TV was calling for an increase in gas taxes. This is sure to be proposed by the Democrats and RINOs.

Increasing a tax on an item falling in price is a typical political ploy. “The art of taxation consists in so plucking the goose as to obtain the largest possible amount of feathers with the smallest possible amount of hissing.” - Louie XIV’S Finance Minister, Jean-Baptiste Colbert.
