A Phoenix police officer shot to death an unarmed black man during a struggle and authorities said the officer believed the individual had a gun, in the latest fatal incident amid national turmoil over the policing of black communities.
The Phoenix Police Department said Rumain Brisbon, 34, was sitting in a black Cadillac SUV outside a convenience store on Tuesday evening, and that two witnesses told the officer the occupants of the vehicle were selling drugs.
With police forces across the country under increased scrutiny over killings of unarmed black men, Phoenix police said in a statement that its officer called for backup, and then saw Brisbon appear to remove something from the car's back seat

Why not? Why should the fact that neither the officer's life nor the life or safety of any civilian was in danger from the suspect prevent the officer from shooting him?
Rumain wasn’t a stranger to the legal system.

No mother should have to worry about her son getting shot every time he goes out to deal drugs out of a Cadillac SUV!
If dead unarmed black men didn’t scuffle with police, they wouldn’t get shot.

Meanwhile, the Bosnian man in St. Louis is still dead, at the hands of black thugs who beat him to death with hammers, and NO ONE in the media has even brought it up..I guess his life didnt matter
News reports note that Rumain Brisbon, the man who was fighting with the police, was on a five-year probation from a conviction of 1998 burglary in which he had been shot; he had a marijuana conviction; and he had been booked twice on DWI charges in 2009 and once in October.
A handgun and marijuana were found in the black Cadillac SUV in which he had been sitting before trying to flee.
It’s gotten so bad that cops are shooting dead men now, sheesh.
So what! If some lunatic was attacking me I don’t know if I’d stop til I knew dead was dead....and then some.
