In his remarks Wednesday on the non-indictment of the New York police officer who allegedly choked Eric Garner to death during a routine arrest, President Barack Obama claimed that he does not involve himself in such controversies. "My tradition is not to remark on cases where there may still be an investigation," he said.
The opposite is true: from Skip Gates to Trayvon Martin to Michael Brown, Obama nearly always weighs in.
Even more bizarre was the fact that Obama upstaged New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. The news networks had all been awaiting the mayor's press conference at 4:45 p.m. ET. Yet Obama broke in with his own remarks at about 4:43 p.m., interrupting his own pre-scheduled address to a gathering of Native American leaders at the White House to offer his take on the grand jury decision before local officials had their chance to react.

“Tradition?” That has nothing to do with it.
It is “inappropriate”. No president should do it. But that would be a rule, instead of his whim. And he hates rules.
This one wasn’t surrounded by the same racial tensions as Ferguson.

My take: Unlike all the other times Obama stepped into crap, he thinks he has a winner here. The revolution has started. His work is done. No need to make a comment.

What a Bull$hit artist. Hes obviously forgotten that he met privately with Ferguson activists, and told them to “stay the course.”
It is perhaps too much to hope that this is a sign that he has learned something from his previous foolishness.
I swear, Democrats believe that video tape, and even History itself, doesn’t actually exist.
The only time they are interested in History is when they are rewriting it.
There is at least some room for debate in this case. The physical evidence in the Michael Brown case made it a slam-dunk.
