I’ll shop online and save my bullets for home. No shopping outside home except for the few grocery store trips I have to make, which will most likely now be at the Hispanic market a block away. I don’t see many blacks there.

That is understandable etc BUT have to be careful one doesn’t become a ‘prisoner’ in ones own home if they can’t move about freely.
Remember back in the 9/11 era that ANYTHING that happened the catch phrase was:

I live in Las Vegas. I have living room French double doors looking out onto a gorgeous, sculpted pool surrounded by lush landscaping. I consider it pretty much paradise. And living here, I already rarely go out after dark and have tried to do my Walmart shopping very early in the morning. At the mall (the good, tourist one) I valet or park a couple steps from the door. Several years ago I got clued in on the real, unreported crime in broad daylight here when I was buying my gun. I enjoy my home in my guard gated slice of paradise and practice vigilant situational awareness. I don’t feel like a prisoner, but neither do I put myself in stupid situations.
