Ferguson: Defining Moment In Race Relations? Agitator Calls For ‘Bloodshed,’ ‘Some'll ‘Have To Die’
The Inquisitr News ^ | November 30, 2014 | Meaghan Ellis

Ferguson protestor Cat Daniels, along with a number of others, have caused quite a controversy following their recent statements during an interview with USA Today. The 53-year-old financial consultant has openly shared her disapproval of her generation’s impact on their children’s lives. Unfortunately, she feels her generation has failed, and the series of events that have ensued following the highly publicized death of Michael Brown has only made her perspective more evident.

Daniels, affectionately known as Mama Cat to younger protestors, feels that little progress has been made since the civil rights era, which is why the fight for justice continues today. “This is 2014, and we are still confronting the problems that our mothers and fathers confronted back in the civil rights era,” said Daniels. “My generation came along, and we fed off what they did. We didn’t fight and keep the fight going. Now, because we didn’t keep the fight, our children have to fight.”

Another avid protestor named Jay Daniels also shared his perception of the message America sends about the importance of African American lives when officers like Darren Wilson are not indicted. Now, as a result of the grand jury’s decision, many are fighting back with a vengeance, which could unfortunately lead to the death of many. Potential martyrs in this defining moment are open to leading the new civil rights movement and reportedly aren’t worried about the possibility of fatal consequences.

“Some people are going to have to die for the cause. It’s sad to say, but this is the new civil rights movement for our generation, and there will be casualties and there should be bloodshed.”

However, arguably many readers have a different perspective of Brown’s death as a “defining moment.” Although Brown was an unarmed, African-American teenager killed by a white police officer, many are viewing the fight for equality as the support of a “thug” who robbed a convenient store. Many readers have stated justice “would have been served” if the store owner had killed Brown instead of Wilson — an officer allegedly just “doing his job.” Others see the Ferguson protestors as agitators, inciting riots and havoc, instead of individuals partaking in a civil rights movement for justice.

Here’s what some readers had to say:

“Justice would have been served if the shopkeeper Brown robbed and assaulted had pulled a pistol and shot the 6’4 drugged-out 300lb thug Brown dead on the store video… that would be justice… and save an innocent policeman trying to do his duty from being assaulted, beaten, having his career and life destroyed… and saved all the innocent Ferguson store owners from having their property looted and burned by mindless, violent, lawless criminal Democrats… It’s all about skin color, when racists call a ‘child’ a 6’4 300 pound thug who robs and assaults an innocent little shopkeeper, then attacks, assaults, punches, grabs for the gun of a Cop..Brown was armed… with aggression, hatred, bad attitude, and a 300 pound body..”

“Starting a civil rights movement by supporting a thug criminal like Brown? Yeah that makes sense…NOT. Here’s a movement for you – try to not commit crimes, push around shopkeepers, and attack cops,” wrote Brett Guyer via USA Today.

“The ones who deserve to die are the communist/anarchist agitators. As they should, thanks to our second amendment given to us to fight this terrorism and tyranny,” another reader wrote.

Do you think Michael Brown’s death is a defining moment in civil rights? Share your thoughts.

I have been studying and observing this for a long time. I don’t even have a television, but from what I see in the press, the population problem is no longer a fit subject to mention. Yet it is worse than ever.

The prices of everything have gone up, and the poor are more and more left behind. The quality of the food and clothing has plummeted, except for the very rich.

Anyone who can’t see this is an ideologue, stuck on the “everything is fine” lie.

Try again with real numbers.

What is the population of the earth? 7 Billion people, more or less?

France has about 211,000 square miles of land area.

Call it 640 acres per square mile.

That's about 135 million square acres.

So? How many people per acre if you put 7 billion people in the land area of France?

Population isn't a problem. The Earth can carry 36Billion without a problem.

You have bought the leftist lie.

I heard Rush say on the radio today that if abortion had been outlawed in 1978, the US Black population today would be 36% instead of 12%.

12% of THEM attacking the rest of us will be a problem for THEM.

Don’t take either’s bait, let their momentum pass, fade and die""

Agree..I do believe it will fade out and die, even they will tire out and they will get bored with this insanity, especially if no one is watching anymore.

Huh?

People are better fed and have more toys than ever in the history of man.

And most of these “protesters” are only “competing for resources” in the sense of stealing things and not working for them. Basically thinking they are entitled to other peoples work.

“Funny how all of a sudden a ‘deal’ was worked out that the protestors were allowed to set up ‘camp’ at one of the 3 side by side gates at the main entrance.

The shipyard workers (Japanese) and bar owners etc in Yokosuka wanted ‘no part’ of any disruption to the business of relieving us young sailors of our money......”

Kind of like me doing nearly all my Christmas shopping online, which I finished almost entirely before Black Friday, a day I stay home and continue to give thanks, rather than be bait for the feral. Businesses all across the U.S. will suffer from this. A point was driven home when I took a CCW class. If you shoot someone outside of your home in self defense you can plan on your life being pretty much over and destroyed by legal fees. I’ll shop online and save my bullets for home. No shopping outside home except for the few grocery store trips I have to make, which will most likely now be at the Hispanic market a block away. I don’t see many blacks there.

When black people riot, cities burn.

When white people riot, continents burn.

Don't start a machine until you are sure there is an off switch.

I shopped at Dollar General this afternoon because it’s usually deserted

My preferred time for a big run is before 8 AM

No crowds and marked down meat if you get there early

That is understandable etc BUT have to be careful one doesn’t become a ‘prisoner’ in ones own home if they can’t move about freely.

Remember back in the 9/11 era that ANYTHING that happened the catch phrase was:

“If you can’t do ______ -

“The Terrorists Have Won”.

She states...
“This is 2014, and we are still confronting the problems that our mothers and fathers confronted back in the civil rights era,” said Daniels.

Oh baloney!.....Daniels needs to put her violin away and might better say that the ‘gains’ which were made by her parents were ‘opportunities’ too few could take advantage of in sufficient numbers to jump start the culture out of it's dark hours.............it was ‘easier’ and more profitable to remain a victim and or use racism when they reached a hurdle, then to stop using it as an excuse and push beyond the mindset which “chained” them to the past...and too many still today, 50 years later, clasp onto those “chains” still.

At that time you were talking about an 'entire culture' that could not read yet aspire to education further, which would take time and loads of effort..... Now, after 50 years the illiteracy rates and dropout rates in education for blacks remains astoundingly high when considering the programs and money, grants etc. afforded them throughout these years.

It's a generational, culture mindset passed from one family to the other and the majority, on the lower end of the black population “use it” as an excuse to this day ,just as Daniels herself is in her comments. Though of course her motive is to maintain and increase the programs and grants and monies which subsidize those from her black "middle" and "upper" class who do take advantage of these. So who needs who to keep the revenue flow moving????

Ferguson rioters just finished burning their community down....yet what is there response to that now..."The police need to help them repair it"......once again always looking to the very people they complain about the most.

In these last two riots they said.......It was the heavy hand of the police that caused them to riot.....so the Nat'l guard and police stood down in the second round...and all they can do is complain because they weren't protected!..rather than admit they could not and did not control their own people...rather the Governor was at fault.

They torched "OUR" Flag immediately after they marched with it high in hand down the streets. So which is it???? .....They cry for police protection in their communities then taunt and defy them when they do so...crying out "You took my baby!"...(and a Gentle Giant you in fact did not raise rather kicked out so you could bring in the second man in your life!)

The hypocrisy of Ferguson protesters has 'no limits'...and the longer this show goes on the more apparent it reveals itself as they strut their ignorance and great lack of emotional control before the media and cry foul.....

They complain they need jobs....who would hire animals like this? People who show no respect even amongst themselves and have an emotional maturity of a 12 yr. old.??? Who would want to risk their business from fire or theft when the mindset says "you owe me white boy"???? as he yanks on the "chains" of the past he's been programmed to hold onto.

The ONLY ones who can "change" this entire masquerade are the Blacks themselves....get rid of the leadership that uses them to stoke their own agendas and find those with genuine concern who can lead them out of this "self-induced bondage to the past....there is no other way.....

“That is understandable etc BUT have to be careful one doesn’t become a ‘prisoner’ in ones own home if they can’t move about freely.”

I live in Las Vegas. I have living room French double doors looking out onto a gorgeous, sculpted pool surrounded by lush landscaping. I consider it pretty much paradise. And living here, I already rarely go out after dark and have tried to do my Walmart shopping very early in the morning. At the mall (the good, tourist one) I valet or park a couple steps from the door. Several years ago I got clued in on the real, unreported crime in broad daylight here when I was buying my gun. I enjoy my home in my guard gated slice of paradise and practice vigilant situational awareness. I don’t feel like a prisoner, but neither do I put myself in stupid situations.
