There's certainly unnecessary police violence out there, from no-knock warrants executed on the wrong address to traffic stops that go further than they should, to asset-forfeiture laws abuse...
Those are documented and sometimes video-supported excesses. Cops in this country are borderline out of control - I don't disagree with that... but this kind of noise just muddies the picture.
