A new radio spot supporting Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) says that Republicans will impeach President Barack Obama if her runoff opponent, Rep. Bill Cassidy (D-La.), wins.
“They have shown our president so much disrespect,” says Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.) in the ad, which was first reported by BuzzFeed News.
“They said he wasn’t a U.S. citizen, they even sued him — and if Cassidy wins, they will impeach him.”
The ad ends with the message that it is "[a]uthorized by Friends of Mary Landrieu, and paid for by the Democratic State Central Committee of Louisiana.” Landrieu lends her approval at the beginning of the ad.
It’s the latest salvo in the runoff, which will decide Landrieu’s political future.
With the race in its final stretch, Landrieu’s campaign has sought to capitalize on new information that indicates Cassidy might have improperly billed the state’s flagship university.
Last month, she mounted a last-ditch effort to pass a bill approving the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, but came up one vote short.
Landrieu, who chairs the Senate’s Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, has argued that her clout on energy policy makes her an asset to Louisiana. Republicans have pledged to give Cassidy a seat on the committee, when they take over the majority in January.
The longtime senator is fighting an uphill battle. Polls before Election Day indicated that once a Tea Party candidate was eliminated, Cassidy would have an edge with voters.
The runoff will be held on Dec. 6.

I hope some Louisianan publicly calls her out in a “Jane, you ignorant slut” sort of way.
“Mary, you ignorant slut. The Senate has nothing do do with impeachment.”
Yet no matter how desperate Mary Landrieu may be, she will not allow Obama to come down and campaign with her.
Obama offered an endorsement from afar, but both he and Mary must know that if he’s seen on the same stage with her, she’s doomed.
But what about other famous Blacks coming to her aid? Think of all the Black entertainers who could help her energize the Black vote by joining her at campaign events — and even singing and playing music for the crowds; New Orleans is famous jazz center. But where are they?
And where are Hillary and Bill and Elizabeth Warren? Why aren’t they helping the poor lady in distress? Nowhere to be found.
She’s on her own.
The national party has cut its losses.
Mary Loser has effectively been thrown under the bus.
And where are Hillary and Bill and Elizabeth Warren?

Yeah, they are just going to impeach him for no reason at all. He hasn’t abused his power, broken laws or anything. Republicans are going to impeach him just because they can—right Mary? Geesh, her voters must be total idiots.
That would mean the Democrats approve bringing Articles of Impeachment
A few of them may want to bring charges against him to save the dem party. Seems to me like they all despise BO and Jarrett and wouldn’t mind some pay back. One could only hope.
Now if the REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP would simply back-up Baby Fat, then we may FINALLY be getting to work on fixing things.

I don’t think any senator has anything to do with with whether the House impeaches this bozo.
I imagined how Mary Loser could exploit Ferguson against Cassidy.
Yeah, I know its reprehensible but would you expect from Democrats?
They are the same folks that accused Republicans of church arson in the 1990s.
My point being, if such a hypothetical campaign ad WAS ever produced, they wouldn’t lose sleep over it. Especially when they get corned, that’s when they are dangerous.
I put nothing past the Landrieu campaign.
