A bad month keeps getting worse for Bill Cosby. As recently as a week ago, 16 women had accused the legendary comedian of sexual assault. Now, that number stands at 20 and the fallout is mounting.

I wonder what the magic number is of woman coming forward before 100% of Freepers call him scum.
Dr. Ben Carson is his replacement at Freed-Hardeman, I am told.
How many women had complaints against Bill Clinton and why didn’t the media give a damn?
About 20 years ago, one of the leading magazines in Texas wrote an in depth article detailing his rape of four women. To date nothing has been done about it.
Just who is behind this new wave of War On Black Rapist?
There is a reason for that. As long as Hillary is a viable contender for the White House, Bill will not be touched.
But, just as soon as she gets nixed the vultures will descend and claim their prize.
Hillary: Whew! 20? Is it warm in here?...
Bill Jefferson Clinton, that is right BJ Clinton, and they call it a Lewinski?
If we go back 30-40 years on Cosby, why not get to the bottom of Ms. Broderick’s allegations against the BJ in chief? How many assaults of a sexual nature did BJ get away with?
Unless he someday comes out and *admits* that the accusations are true I'll never be *convinced* that he's scum.
It would take a while to fully explain my attitude but consider this:
1) He's worth billions (think of what that fact might mean to some "personal injury" lawyers)
2) He's had some surprising critical things to say about black youth in recent years, things that wouldn't endear him to influential "civil rights" campaigners like the Hero of Freddy's Fashion Mart.
3) A poll done a few years back indicated that close to one third of New Yorkers believe that 9/11 was an "inside job".Translation;there are many, many deeply disturbed individuals in this country, individuals who are prepared to believe...or claim...anything.
Oh,and BTW...to me,as the number of women making accusations rises my skepticism regarding the validity of their accusations rises as well.
For some it would have to be in the millions.
Case in point to my post above.
1) Which is why he got by with it. And there was a lawsuit where 14 women came forward. He could afford the few million to settle out of court and silence her.
2) Not critical at all considering his age. It is the youth he is speaking out against, not just the blacks. His audience is older blacks and agree with him. He is not a conservative by any means (he praises muslims and thinks we should be like them, he called Pubs racist for not standing for Obama, is an Obama supporter and liberal and he is a racist) so your #2 goes out the window.
3) Non-sequitur. However you do prove the point of your #3 by dismissing the allegations
and your BTW, the fact most of these women have nothing to gain and the pattern is the same is more not less likely to substantiate. Often in the case of molestation, rape or abuse, women don’t have the courage to come forward (partly because of people like you) until they see other victims come forward. I see this often in cult deprogramming. Silence or delay does not mean the accusation is not true. It took me over 20 years to admit I was abused because I was shamed and no one believed me when I sought help when it happened.
The media loves to count bodies as a way to push their point. But only when it makes their point.
Remember the Iraq war daily body count?
And the lack of a body count once Obama took over?
In this case we have:
A Bill Cosby body count
No Bill Clinton body count
Point #3 always gives me the collywobbles...
Just one thing:
to me,as the number of women making accusations rises my skepticism regarding the validity of their accusations rises as well.
What do you say about William the Impeached, then?
That's an easy one....BillyBob Blythe had specifically stated, even before PerjuryGate, that he was far from being a saint and that he shouldn't be seen as a role model.Any reasonably intelligent, reasonably decent person has, from the very moment BillyBob first appeared on the national stage, thought "used car salesman" whenever they heard him speak.
OTOH,apart from these accusations (which may,or may not,be true) Cosby's seldom,if ever, struck decent people like that.
TWENTY women I don’t think are willing to be humiliated, shamed, paraded and face the firing squad for a bit of money. They are risking a LOT to come forward and accuse the buzzard. I think he would have openly, quickly denied it from the beginning, and it was always silence. He is guilty.
20 women coming forward claiming he raped them is worthless without some sort of corroborating evidence.
I'm not a Bill Cosby fan. That ended long ago when I realized he spoke with forked tongue.
He should be held accountable if any of the allegations are true. The only way to find out is to look into the backgrounds of these women because Cosby ain't talking. I have better things to do than to waste my time on a hypocrite.
And lets not forget the number of times he has admitted to having reports scuttled.
AP comments
at least 2 National Enquirer stories
2 other news stories
That he is caught on. How many others have been spiked?
All this blaming the victim by supposed conservatives for a racist liberal is disgusting.
Nods to both of you.
I keep thinking Gloria Allred and her mercenary harpies shooting down Herman Cain, and wondered if this was just a repeat.

Been done. Not a fan of Glenn Beck but this article is what caught my eye and got me to do my own research. It is also what started my change of mind about Cosby and come to the realization he is guilty. Start here. There is also a former employee who has some documentation of payoffs. When you make that kind of money, a couple of grand a month is no big deal.
