Is the decline present primarily in dollars or is it across the board regardless of currency? Dollar strength or gold weakness?

Dollar strength sounds like an opportunity to crank up the printing presses at the Treasury...that’ll fix it.

I suspect it is dollar strength, since we’re seeing similar declines in the prices of almost every commodity.

Gold is down almost 40 dollars today, about a buck and a half due to the dollar, the rest to "normal trading," per Kitco.com.
