Lt. Col. Allen West was a guest on Fox News Channels On The Record with Greta Van Susteren Tuesday night when he slammed President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder for their inconsistency in talking about the injustice of white-on-black crimes while ignoring black-on-white crimes in this country.
What I do find very hypocritical is that President Obama nor Eric Holder have said anything about the four black gang members who brutally carjacked and took Captain Kevin Quick, a Virginia reserve police officer, and murdered him. We did not hear them say anything about the nineteen-year-old New Jersey teenager, Brendan Devlin, who was gunned down by a black self-proclaimed jihadist. We have heard them say nothing about the two black teenagers that bludgeoned to death a World War II Okinawa veteran out in Spokane, Washington. Nor about the black teenager who shot a young toddler in the face in Brunswick, Georgia. So I think that the country has to really get tired of this cherry-picking of these instances of their perceived social justice and their own agenda that they are trying to use for their own elevation. And this really is getting quite despicable. West said to Van Susteren that there is no political benefit for Obama and Holder in citing these particular crimes.
Regardless if it turns out or not that a source for the numbers provided by another website can be found (derived?) as claimed to be in the 2010 DoJ crime victims survey.. it reminds me that
months ago DoJ Crime Victims Survey estimated projections got confused with the FBI UCR numbers. It caused quite a stir.
Month ago it was reported that
An analysis of single offender victimization figures from the FBI for 2007 finds blacks committed 433,934 crimes against whites, eight times the 55,685 whites committed against blacks. Interracial rape is almost exclusively black on white with 14,000 assaults on white women by African Americans in 2007. Not one case of a white sexual assault on a black female was found in the FBI study.
Others around the 'Net glommed on to those numbers.
But I could not find FBI stats.
Turns out that DoJ stats obtained from interviews with tens of thousands of victims of crime match those numbers.
Crimes of violence against whites 3,262,660 and 13.3 % were black offenders; that's 433,934 times
Crimes of violence against blacks 562,470 and 9.9% were white offenders; that's 55,685 times
Crimes of violence against whites by blacks is 7.79 times the number of crimes of violence against blacks by whites.
The claim that "Not one case of a white sexual assault on a black female was found" actually meant that there were so few of those crimes reported by the survey that they could could develop a reliable projection for the whole population. These were statistical data not police reports like the FBI's UCR.
The FBI does have a new system NIBRS (National Instance-Based Reporting System) that does not show interracial crime but does show victim figures and offender figures by race that IMO strongly suggest the obvious.
I almost always leave out the not..
"they could not develop a reliable projection"
The data seems to have originated here -- at least one source INTERRACIAL CRIME on www.discoverthenetworks.org.
It's a spread sheet in the form of Table 42 and is labeled 2010. The link is in the article and is www.discoverthenetworks.org/Articles/Table%2042%20-%20Interracial%20Crime%20-%202010.xls
I felt compelled to follow up even if no one see this because I cannot find the data in National Crime Victimization Survey Criminal Victimization, 2010 that is suppose to be the source of Table 42 -- but as I pointed out it appears the interracial crime data are no longer available following 2008. I cannot find it and I sure did not see it in National Crime Victimization Survey Criminal Victimization, 2010. Maybe there's a way to download it from the DoJ site without the file, National Crime Victimization Survey Criminal Victimization, 2010?
I am sure the data are still collected. I will take a look.
First off the numbers look real.
The numbers certainly look real and fit nicely with years preceding:
After general searches which yielded hundreds of references to the stats I scanned the outline of many and none appeared to question the numbers.. not even a dailycos.com article. Only one of the dozens I read questioned the source and what pursued was a argument over what is meant by source. None not even Discover the Network had a URL with the footnote referencing the Criminal Victimization in the United States 2010 file.
I'm not posting the details of any of the search efforts here but I will post them as proof if necessary. I think that it is that important. The spreadsheet with the table on Discover the Network certain looks real but if it is in
http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pdf/cv10.pdf I can see it.
My search proved that Table 42 is in all the "Criminal Victimization in the United States" files up until 2009.
I however am not going to contact any of the parties until I am ready to give up my FR screen name -- though I am no one of note. Like my personal page says, After a long and extinguished career I retired.
BTW DoJ does provide the tables including Table 42 separately year by year or all together but none for years beyond 2008 that I could find.
.. again I left out the not. "if it is in http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pdf/cv10.pdf I can not see it."
However I cannot find the victim-offender races (white-on-black, black-on-white, Table 42) numbers in National Crime Victimization Survey Criminal Victimization, 2010
That file is referenced all over the 'Net as the source but there is no link. I obtained the link. Is there another version of this file? I am aware of the spread sheet of Table 42 that's on Discover the Networks but again I do not see the source of their data.

There appears to be no Table 42 (victim-offender races) published (except for the FBI homicides, see reply #12) after 2008 when DoJ became the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us.
The 'blue' group has 2 members. The 'pink' group has a million members. Both groups kill 10 people.
Which group has the most violent members? A fool would say it's equal. It's not - each member of the blue group has murdered five people. People in the pink group might never have even met someone who's committed murder.
That's the concept that matters. Period.
My question to all is were do the numbers come from? They comport with data from years prior; but references provided merely name a NCVS file as the source. Where is the "Criminal Victimization in the United States 2010" file they reference?
Where is the file they used? (That's a rhetorical question.)
I know where one is.
I am very familiar with the Bureau of Justice Statistics NCVS files and I examined the file that the presenters named as the source, http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pdf/cv10.pdf
That file does not have the referenced data.
It does not speak well of the presenters to neglect to source their data. It reflects on all of us.
I have several replies above addressing this. IMO it is important but other of course may not consider it so.
Thanks for your reply.
Likely the most truthful crime numbers deal with murder - difficult to dumb down that number.
A statistical comparison could be made between cities... maybe the number of murders could be correlated with the number of domestic violence calls.... who knows? Anyhow because of PC politics - and mayors wanting their cities to look good - it likely crime numbers are substantially higher than reported.
Just guessing... what are your thoughts?
But in the case of the NCVS it is entirely a federal DoJ decades-old operation. Here is a brief description using sexual assault numbers. It's from the '80s.
"In the course of twice-a-year interviews conducted with more than 125,000 people each year in the National Crime Survey, only about 100 cases of rape or attempted rape are reported. When the sample is compared to the size of the general population, it is estimated that each reported incident represents about 1,200 rapes or rape attempts that took place across the country. Nevertheless, 100 cases are too few for detailed statistical analysis. To obtain enough information for a detailed examination of the crime of rape, all cases of female rape reported in the National Crime Survey from 1973 through 1982 were aggregated into a single data set. The set consists of 1,082 cases representing a national total of 1.5 million instances of rape or attempted rape during the decade."source U.S. Department of Justice

I guess I'll just have to keep looking to find where Whittle got his numbers -- again they look valid but they are not in the 2010 NCVS file that I see.
Thanks again.
Why do you think that is...
Why do you think that is... What's your take on this issue...
IMO the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us and Our People will not release facts that disturb their racial demagoguery.
All these federal tables contradict their bullshit.
The FBI does have a new system NIBRS (National Incident-Based Reporting System) that does not show interracial crime but does show victim figures and offender figures by race that IMO strongly suggest the obvious.
I have both in html and I post them here. see the FR thread. The FBI NIBRS downloads (the links are in the FR thread) are in spread sheet format.
Sad that Obama and Holder would choose to lie when truthful statistics could help American deal with race problems realistically. The truth would also give support to blacks trapped in high crime communities run by gangs.
