This is because they are AFRAID to riot in Austin. Acevedo lets his guys do pretty much whatever they want.

rioting and looting in Austin... nah I wouldn’t care

I went through Austin yesterday morning (window locked, of course) and it was the first time I saw the highway without a lot of traffic.
